Summary: The hotel is beautiful and situated right on the water. The train made arriving at the property simple, and without luggage, it was a lovely walk into town and to the castle along a paved path following the beach and harbor. I especially enjoyed taking a swim in the ocean each morning, just steps from the hotel. A plush robe was provided, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was very good, with espresso machines and every option you could want, including wheat-free choices and fresh juices. My room was small but nicely appointed. Unfortunately, the window overlooked a roof and was affected by the kitchen’s exhaust fan. Whenever I opened it for fresh air, the room filled with the smell of frying fish. At night, I’d hoped the fan would stop, it did not and ran constantly. Opening a window for fresh air is such a pleasure and It helps me to sleep well, sadly I was jot able to do so during this stay.

Summary: This is our 3rd time at this hotel and we love it. The view sea side, the rooms, and the walkability of the location to the city center. The only drawback is the parking, as everytime we have arrived the place parking was difficult. A+ Hotel

Summary: The hotel overall was nice and breakfast was excellent. However, we were travelling with a child and there was no place set up for her to sleep when we arrived. We called down to reception and asked for the sofa bed to be made up. Staff dropped off bedding but did not make up the bed. Once the sofa bed was made, there was very little space to manoeuvre around the room. There was also loud, thumping music being played at an event downstairs until around midnight that made it difficult to get to sleep.

Summary: Bathtub was in the room and not in bathroom, which was a bit strange. Room itself was a bit old but still confy. Breakfast and dinner offers lot of options. Hotel is quite strict on check-in time so don't come early.
