The location is magic and the views are simply outstanding being positioned above the boardwalk that links Happy Valley to Kings Beach. Both the building and the interior of the unit have been completely renovated in 2013.
This tastefully appointed unit provides a touch of luxury for your well earned holiday. This property has it all 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounges, a large balcony and parking for 2 cars.
The master bedroom boasts a queen size bed, a modern ensuite and has both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Two of the other bedrooms have queen size beds and the fourth has a oversized triple bunk and doubles up as a great rumpus room for the kids. Air con is situated in the lounge and bedrooms.
The modern kitchen has a gas hob, quality appliances and a breakfast bar for those leisurely mornings. If cooking isn't on your holiday agenda then you are only minutes from the cafes and restaurants of Caloundra and Kings Beach.

Summary: 2 families of 3. 2 lounge areas, bathroom and an ensuite, so we allocated 1 to each family. 4 bedrooms making it easy to split between adults, teens & kids. Everyone has their own space and also space to come together. Well stocked kitchen. Whether it be the owner or previous guests paying it forward, there were dish washing tablets, I left garbage bags. It was just so homely and the location is prime !!!!

Summary: Terrific property for an extended family catch-up. Waking up to the spectacular ocean view and watching the waves roll in, so relaxing. Working locks on bathroom doors would be a welcome addition, but otherwise the property has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Would love to stay here again.

Summary: Kitchen was very well stock and fabulous attention to detail. Property was very clean and view was fantastic, would definitely recommend!!!

Summary: We stayed at this unit for 9 nights last week. The unit was spacious and modern and easily fit 8 adults and 4 children with room to spare. The amount of books, games and DVDs in the unit was amazing and kept us entertained on rainy days. We will definitely book this unit for holidays again

Summary: We stayed here last week as a family of 5 adults, 2 kids and it was the perfect size for us. The kids loved their big bunks and each couple had a good sized room too, and we weren't in each others pockets. Great views, walking distance to most places, beach was 2 minutes away. Comfy beds and lounges. We saw whales in the distance most mornings. Lots of appliances and games. But - a TV in the main lounge, and wifi would be great additions. Please also suggest to people booking that teatowels and toilet paper would need to be brought by them as well as linen. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for holiday accom in Caloundra. Cheers :)

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay in 1 Marika. The Unit was everything we needed and more. The range of books and games was fantastic...we could have left ours at home! The space was wonderful for 8 adults and a baby and the views were breathtaking. The separate area with double/triple bunk was perfect for the family of 3. We have stayed in a few Units at Caloundra over the years but Marika is the best for such a large family. This is our first holiday in 8 years so it was very special. Everyone is on board to try and get another week together same time next year.....we will hope and see! We would recommend this Unit to everyone.

Summary: What a fabulous accommodation we had at Marika, Unit 1. The place was immaculate, facilities outstanding and the view amazing. This well-appointed unit was in a perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and now we have discovered this gem, we wont stay anywhere else when we visit Caloundra. Summary: My family and I have stayed in many holiday apartments and this would definitely rate as one our absolute favourites. There was ample room to accommodate two adults and 4 teenagers. The combined bunk bed/rumpus room for the kids was fantastic and there was so much space throughout the entire apartment we never felt on top of each other. The other two living areas were also generously sized and extremely well appointed and comfortable. The location was perfect offering a stunning view and all the holiday necessities - beaches, parks, numerous cafes and restaurants - all at our doorstep. The owners have also thought of every appliance and utensil needed in a kitchen, not to mention the wonderful collection of books and games. We would thoroughly recommend the Marika apartment as a fabulous holiday choice. Our kids didn't want to leave and we can't wait to go back!
