Positive: Perfect for a small family and the third room accommodates smaller kids or a working private office. I would definitely stay here again as it's a well kept home. There were no surprises as I read the reviews where it describes the property well.
Negative: Early checkouts at 10 am but that's part and parcel of a lot of Airbnb.

Positive: The house is well arranged and well equipped. There were toys for the kids. The heating was good. There was a backyard with a barbecue but we did not use due to the weather. The location was great: very close to the Anarcorte's farmer's market, which was fun. Close to restaurants in Commercial Ave. We went there for a whale watching tour which started just a few minutes drive from the house.
Negative: The bed in the larger room was not so comfortable. The vacasa company which runs the place sent reminders with links to sign the contract but they just don't work. Even if I wrote them directly telling that they did not send me a link that works. They just related to the "trip planner" which is also a link that doesn't work. Fortunately the key information which is the door code was sent per SMS and that was clear.
Summary: Comfy house, well located for exploring the region and for whale watching tours.

Negative: Being sent a form email the day before my trip to pay extra to check in early or check out later. This is usually something establishments do, free of charge, for one or two hours if accommodation is available. I found it tacky, especially since we’d already paid a lot for one night.

Negative: Wasn't aware this is actually a duplex situation, however the neighbors were very quiet. Also, pets were allowed, it was hard to bring my small terrier out to use the bathroom when neighbors had 3 pretty large dogs that were pretty upset when we tried to enter the backyard. It would be much easier for all pets and people if a solid fence was there to separate yards rather than the 3 ft picket type fence... But the home was quiet and clean.

Negative: Just expect an older home and all that comes with that including steep squeaky stairs and the yard could use some sprucing up no big deal.
