Positive: Stayed as a base for visiting Trentham Monkey Forest & Alton Towers. Instructions for getting into the property were really good. Parking is available outside, middle area is pay and display but around the edges is free and seemed fairly safe to leave the car overnight. We had no problems finding a space (midweek). Instructions for entry to the property were good, easy to use door code and lock box. Property was large with 2 bedrooms, one double (with plenty of room for a travel cot) and one with Double beds. Property was quite in the night. Huge bath & shower. Kitchen well equipped. Living area had enough room for us all and they even supplied us with a high chair.
Negative: Not sure if it's mentioned on the description of the property but the Roaches Suite is up a couple of flights of stairs which could be an issue for some people, but we found it ok. Glass Tables/ edges not ideal for younger guests. Could do with a bit of a freshen-up, i.e repainting, new sofa etc.
Summary: Excellent Value for Money

Positive: A fabulous location with access to lots of places to eat and drink. The market was a lovely place to visit, too. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything that was needed. The only issue was that the main bedroom on the front of the property was very light and would be better with lined curtains as this meant there was no way we could have a lie in.

Positive: Lucky enough to meet the owner of the apartment who was very friendly, very helpful with advice he gave for where to visit in the surrounding areas, was very accommodating. The facilities were amazing comfy large bed sofas and TV with kitchen to accommodate any kind of meals if you were planning to cook meals yourself, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, oven and utensils etc. Everything you need. Bath and shower separate was also a great touch.
Negative: Parking was a slight downside but in all honesty it’s so cheap and also so close together if needing to change car park or go and pay for parking it takes 2 minutes.
Summary: Great place for a weekend hike or just a get away with nice views and walks. facilities were superb

Positive: Great, central location with stunning scenery for walks nearby. Very comfortable and extremely well equipped (tea, coffee, cleaning supplies etc). Heating boost warmed the apartment up very quickly. Excellent communication from the owners throughout.
Negative: There were a few cobwebs in the bedroom but the rest of the apartment was very clean.

Positive: Lovely accommodation had everything you need. The apartment is lovely and spacious Lovely bathroom with both bath and separate shower, some of the floor is in need of repair but this didn’t bother us. Main bedroom had two beds pushed together. They were really comfortable which was needed after the long days. Lots of towels and bed covers, all fresh and clean looking. Really good WiFi had no connection issues. There’s everything you need from, cooking utensils, tea towels, tea, coffee and coffee machine. Full size fridge freezer and microwave.
Negative: Lovely location but the market started setting up at 4.30 am on the Saturday and it’s pretty loud. It sounded like scaffolding poles were being thrown down. It even woke up my husband who can sleep through anything? One of the pillows had what appeared to have blood on it? We just didn’t use that one. The floors were dirty, not as in debris but our feet got very dirty. But as soon as we realised we just made sure we wore socks as I couldn’t find mop or hoover. We’re not ones to complain and if something isn’t quite right we’ll find a solution. Had there of been any major concerns we would have reached out to the host. Overall the accommodation was good for the short weekend stay.

Positive: Clean, well equipped apartment in the center. Modern bathroom and kitchen
Negative: The sofa could have been more comfortable. The main issue was the market set up at 5AM on sat. The owners have double glazzed the apartment but if the guys are noise, which they were when we stayed you may get woken up if sleeping on the front, pack your ear plugs if staying fri night.
Summary: Lovely apartment, well equipped but can be noisy early mornings on market days

Positive: Decor, facilities, big beds, well equipped kitchen, handy position for Leek’s excellent pubs and restaurants, decent value.
Negative: I’m sure we won’t be the first to mention that the front bedroom is noisy: erecting market stalls Friday night and music from Market Place pubs on Saturday. I’m not being sarcastic when I suggest that a box of earplugs is provided. I bought some and they really helped.
