Positive: Absolutely loved my stay here! Surrounded by misty rain, fog, and lush greenery — it felt like living in a dream. The mountain views were stunning, and the pool with the foggy backdrop was just surreal. A perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. Highly recommended!
Negative: Bumpy road due to rain eventhough it's the main road to pine forest lower valky and palozhukumpara waterfalls

Positive: Marmaram Heritage is absolutely stunning, beautifully maintained and offering breath taking mountain view. Food was delicious and the service was consistently attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the grand infinity pool, massage pool chair and bbq which all added to the overall sense of tranquility.
Negative: Eventhough property is on the main road, the main road is a bit rough at some portions.
Summary: Little slice of Paradise! Perfect blend of luxury, comfort and warm hospitality.

Positive: Marmaram is an exceptional property and would recommend d to all my fellow travellers The property owner and caretaker were very welcoming and arranged jeep safari and camp fire for us. Also the food was prepared from a nearby family according to our choice which was very homely and delicious. We also had a great time in the large pool with a very beautiful mountain view. Also the room door also opens to the pool and mountain side which was mesmerizing. Also the heritage architecture with wooden pillars, large verandah, terracotta tiles, wooden flooring in bedrooms, antique furniture, large stone and brick arches etc added the beauty to the property.

Positive: Loved the vintage charm of this place! Our host Mr. Mathew has done an incredible job preserving its character while offering modern conveniences. Particularly, I was taken aback by the breath-taking views from the pool. The property is absolutely clean and it is exactly the same as shown in the pictures. Mr. Mathew was a great host. Communication was seamless as he was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. Our caretaker Mr. Manu was attentive and made sure everything was in order for our arrival. He was respectful of our privacy but always available when needed. It was the perfect place for us to stay and we could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful stay; I definitely recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Vagamon.
Negative: Nothing much to be honest. Maybe they could provide more food options in future.

Positive: We had an overall amazing experience staying at this property! In comparison to many private pool villas I’ve visited, this one is large and very satisfying. The pool is spacious enough for the kids to swim some real distance, which was a highlight for our family. The power interruption my delay the cleaning of the pool but otherwise the back-up power is sufficient for all other conviniences.(necessary lighting, pedestial fan, charger etc) Manu, the caretaker was extremely helpful. While we were a little disappointed for not being able to use the pool as we checked-in (bcoz of power issues) but he guided us to a nearby mountain stream at a walkable distance. It was a peaceful spot with no crowds, perfect for a relaxing dip and some photos. The view from the pool was relaxing, with the possibility of catching a beautiful sunrise if the weather permits. Also, the Palozhukkumpara viewpoint is just a short walk away—a brisk morning walk to catch the views, and again, no crowds! The food options are somewhat limited at the moment, but I believe this will improve over time as the property develops. For the evening snacks we ordered 2 coffees,1 tea,1 cup of milk, and 8 bread omelettes—which were all delicious. For dinner, we had chapathi, egg curry, fried rice, and vegetable curry, and all the dishes were full of flavour. While I’m not sure if it was worth 2k but the it was definitely tasty and nice. The breakfast, which was included in the plan, was also quite nice. It included watermelon slices, egg curry, appam, cornflakes, milk, tea, and coffee. The rooms were spacious and completely wooden. The Wi-Fi/mob n/w was a bit weak but its safe around there. Overall it was a fantastic stay. I will try to put a detailed review on google.
Negative: Many of the concerns I had are relatively unavoidable or common issues, such as the power outage due to the lack of 3-phase power, limited food options, the need for more privacy for the pool from the nearby resort, and the weak Wi-Fi. I hope these aspects will be addressed and improved in the coming years. That being said, this property has immense potential, especially considering there is nothing quite like it in the surrounding area. With some refinements, it could become an even more outstanding destination. I’m excited to see how it evolves and would definitely consider returning in the future.
