Summary: We were looking for a property in Provence that could 1. comfortably accommodate our 12 family members; 2. be in a central location to enjoy many of the towns in Provence; 3. have AC and a pool, and 4. feel like you were in Provencal house. The Mas du Sommelier checked all the boxes! In addition, the fact that the owner was a chef/sommelier allowed our large group to enjoy two amazing meals at the property. Otherwise, we cooked each night at home. Le Beaucet is a lovely, but very small town which we enjoyed walking to in the evening, and St Didier was about a 5 minute drive when we needed to pick up supplies. We appreciated the fact that the property had two separate buildings, which gave our group some separation. If you are interested in a true Provencal experience, this property is a winner.
