Enjoy this brand new mountainside chalet in the Massanutten Resort community. This thoughtfully designed home gives you access to all of the area's attractions - hiking, skiing, biking, golf, water park, and tubing during all four seasons.
In addition to resort activities, you will have easy access to Shenandoah National Park and James Madison University (JMU) during your stay. With three king beds, well-equipped kitchen, there is plenty of room to relax, recharge and have a great vacation!
**FIRST FLOOR**
-Living Room: Open concept living / dining / kitchen with a 65" Samsung smart HDTV for streaming through your personal account.
-Kitchen: This kitchen has everything you need to cook your favorite meal, including a 17-piece Calphalon non-stick cookware set, a toaster, electric kettle, Cuisinart coffee maker for drip coffee and K-cups, or use the Bodum pour-over for your coffee instead. Pyrex bakeware, serving dishes, kid-friendly dishes and cutlery as well as a high-chair are also provided.
-Bathroom and Laundry:The powder room offers privacy and easy access to all guests, and the laundry room has a full-size GE washer and dryer with laundry pods included.
-Bedroom 1: King-size Article bed with Helix memory foam mattress and an ensuite full bathroom with separate shower and jetted bathtub.
**SECOND FLOOR**
-Bedroom 2: King-size Article bed with Helix memory foam mattress, private balcony, dedicated workstation and twin sleeper sofa.
-Bathroom: This shared full bathroom has a shower/tub combo, large vanity and hairdryer.
-Bedroom 3: Twin bunk beds + trundle bed. This room also has toys and books for little ones and a TV for older children that want to hook up their gaming system or watch a movie.
-Bedroom 4: West Elm King-size bed with Zinus cooling gel memory foam mattress
-Toiletries: We supply luxurious and eco-friendly Public Goods body wash, shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion for your stay. We'll get you started with toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags but if you're staying more than a weekend you likely will need to bring or buy some more.
-Patio: The back patio can be accessed from the laundry room or bedroom and has seating for four (4) as well as a Weber BBQ grill with propane gas.
-Parking: There is plenty of room in the paved driveway for 6 cars. The garage is accessible but only from inside of the home.
-Stairs: There are several stairs required to access the home, as shown in the photos.
-Trash: Due to wildlife and infrequent pickup, trash must be taken to the community dumpsters.

Summary: This home was perfect for our family getaway of 3 couples and 3 children. The kids loved the bunk beds and appreciated having their own tv and toys to play with. The king beds were comfy and the living area was perfect for our super bowl watch night. The home is immaculate and new and location was so close to all of our activities. I highly recommend this property.

Summary: We stayed at this modern getaway for a family getaway and had a great time. It’s a cozy house and we fit kids 4 kids from 3-10yr old and 5 adults. The house was well laid out, and an easy drive to the resort and ski slopes! The toddlers loved the play nook in the bunk bed room, and the adults love the stone fireplace. There are also some games to play . The kids nook is the only true play space for kids , so if you have a group of kids with mixed ages, you might have to make another make shift play/game area, which we did in the dining room area as to not interrupt those who wanted to watch a movie. We did discover the unfinished basement and kept saying that the cherry on top for this house would be to have another common area in the basement, especially for a larger group. It’s really a well laid out house though, they used the space well! The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, and there is a big pantry. We loved that the master suite had some new travel size toiletries for use if needed.. there is only one bedroom with a tv so if you are a TV family be sure to bring your iPad, though we didn’t mind at all given we were outside most of our stay. Alyson was also very lovely to communicate with. She made sure we had everything we needed, and when we ran into a small issue with the hot water temperature, she had someone out fixing it immediately even though it was later in the evening. We greatly appreciated it! She was helpful and kind, and to us that makes the house that much more enjoyable, as we stay in a lot of VrBO houses. My sisters and I are thinking of coming back next year for a girls weekend! Thanks so much Alyson! We enjoyed our stay!
