Bright, open concept, 3200+ sqft, freshly renovated 5 bed / 4 bath mountain escape in the Crowsnest Pass close to Fernie (45 mins), Castle (45 mins), and Waterton (1 hr). Guests can enjoy this mountain home with outdoor hot tub, south facing decks, Napoleon BBQ, fire, gas fireplaces, in-floor heat, & chefs kitchen.
Main floor - The fully furnished kitchen is open concept with miles of counter space and a central island. All dishes and cooking equipment are here for your cooking pleasure. The whole family can dine together at a large main dining table with mountain views. Another formal dining room also exists which accommodates additional adults, perfect for games or adult only time! The living room has a stone gas fireplace and looks out to the mountain. Relax on the expansive south facing deck where you can see Crowsnest Mountain and the full southern range. The main floor has a king bedroom with full 4pc en suite with jacuzzi tub, the other main floor queen bedroom is next to the main floor 3pc bathroom.
Second floor - The second floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, TV room, wet bar, and large games space. The first bedroom has a comfy king bed, the second bedroom has 2 bunk beds with 4 beds total (ideal for kids), the final room has a queen bed and a 2 piece en suite bathroom. This level has a games area with fooseball, games table, yoga mat and blocks, small weight set, it also has a gas fireplace as well as 65” TV for movie night or a big game! There is a deck just off the living room for covered dinning and mountain views.
The top two floors of the home are available to guests. There is over 3200 sqft of space and 5 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms along with 2 separate decks and private yard with a hot tub and fire pit area exclusive for guests. The home has a washer and dryer on both levels along with detergent for guests to use if they need any washing. The attached double car garage is available for storing bikes / skis / other gear (even has tools to use).
We primarily live in Calgary, and have amazing property managers and professional cleaners who look after our space. Note that there are exterior security cameras and sound monitors to ensure that guest are adhering to local noise bylaws (quiet after 10pm). If you are looking for any local tips, Michael was previously a wilderness guide in the Crowsnest Pass and has some amazing spots to share. We are always available via phone, text or email to answer any questions or help in any way.
The Crowsnest Pass has become a sought out destination for a mountain escape. We find people are tired of the large crowds, full parking lots, packed trails, and tour buses of Canmore, Banff, and Jasper. Some of our favourite things to do in ‘The Pass’ include:
+Grabbing a drink and ‘nachopoutine’ at Pass Beer Brewery
+Wolfing down cinnamon buns at the Cinnamon Bear
+Eating massive chicken wings at Pure Country Pub
+Mountain biking at Pass Powder Keg
+Golfing at Crowsnest Golf Club (brand new 18 holes just finished)
+Swimming / floating at Chinook Lake
+Hiking up Crowsnest Mountain, or visiting the plane crash wreckage near Andy Good
+Fly fishing along the Crowsnest River
+Visit the Art Studios in downtown Coleman
+Check out the interpretive centre at Frankslide (whole mountain collapsed on a small town in 1903)
+We also ski quite a bit at both Fernie and Castle and find The Pass is the perfect home base for both
Best to have a car while you are down here as everything is close but a couple kms away. Our place is on a paved street that is plowed regularly in the winter so all cars can access access.

Summary: We were very impressed with the home, invited guests between ceremony and meal back to house with us, ample room for all, everyone impressed with the layout of the home, size of kitchen, outside amenities as well as what was provide with the package. Summary: This is a large home, well designed and kept, well placed for wonderful morning and evening views of the Crowsnest River valley and mountains of Southwest Alberta. With plenty of parking and space, it has a variety of rooms and guest areas to accommodate most groups. The furniture was comfy, the dining table(s) large, the kitchen great for group food prep. The hosts were great, the supplies, and little gifts very much appreciated.

Summary: We had a great time together at this wonderful property. The house was spacious for the 7 of us and we loved the large eating table. The house was very clean and had all needed supplies. Summary: 9 of us came down for a girls weekend and found the property to be absolutely perfect! The open kitchen/dining/living area with huge island was the perfect gathering place. We all had amazingly comfortable beds with some to spare and no shortage of bathrooms and showers with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The house was fully equipped with absolutely everything you’d need for a large gathering including prep dishes and serving dishes. The BBQ worked beautifully and the fire pit was stocked with wood. The hot tub was in pristine condition and there were plenty of indoor and outdoor towels provided. Views were incredible - we watched a deer who came and laid in the backyard. There was tons of comfortable seating inside and out. There were plenty of cleaning supplies, extra toilet paper and garbage bags etc. available. Thank you for an amazing stay at a beautiful location!

Summary: This place was absolutely amazing! The house was huge! So fresh and clean. Beds very comfortable. It was the perfect little getaway for us girls. The views and hot tub were our favourite! Loved that it had some extra things in the pantry if needed. The host was very responsive and made everything easy for us. Thank you for a great weekend!!
