Negative: I recently stayed at this guesthouse for one night and was disappointed with certain aspects of my stay. The listing clearly states that all rooms have a balcony, but upon arrival, I found that my room had only skylight windows, which were inaccessible without a tool. The room, located in the attic, had a stale and stuffy air, making it difficult to breathe, especially for my wife, who suffers from pre-asthmatic symptoms. Despite several attempts, I could not reach anyone from the property for assistance, as they operate an automated check-in system with no staff on-site after hours. It took us about 15 minutes to locate the tool necessary to open the windows, which helped to some extent, though the feeling of claustrophobia persisted due to the height of the windows (over 2.5 meters). The presentation of the room in the listing was misleading. The photos and description gave no indication that the windows were so high, nor that the room lacked a balcony as advertised. I acknowledge that I didn't inform the property in advance about my wife's medical condition, but the description created an expectation that wasn’t met. Additionally, communication with the property was brief and unhelpful, especially when I requested clarification about the automated check-in process. While the room was clean, the lack of accurate information about the layout and amenities, as well as the limited communication, left us with an overall negative experience.
