Positive: Beautiful lodge in a stunning location. The hot tub was the cherry on the top! We really appreciated the large garage and drying facilities for our hiking gear. Fantastic kitchen with everything you need. The cleaner was really friendly and very thorough.

Positive: Perfect 2 night getaway for us in a remote but beautiful part of the Central Otago region. Quiet and peaceful .Comfy bed and good shower pressure. Great to be able to switch off. Bring everything you need as really too far to go back if you forget the milk!
Negative: Would have been helpful to have instructions on how to work certain things such as the TV (couldn’t get it work so went without which was actually great!) Had to google the oven operation as well but got there in the end . Would have also been helpful to have a few more basic kitchen staples but not a major .
Summary: Loved our 2 night “get away from it all” stay .

Positive: The Isolation of the property way out of town but a long way to go if you forgot anything.
Negative: Sharing the lounge etc with others, gets a bit busy in the lounge and kitchen with shared ammenities.
Summary: Very nice place if you want some peace and quiet among the mountains.

Positive: Fantastic location if you like to be away from it all (which we did). completely private, wonderful view of the mountains, and the house is great. Beds are comfy, and the living room/dining room are great for gathering and relaxing. Relaxing in the hot-tub watching the stars was wonderful.
Negative: Due to its location and no cellphone service, I would recommend that that wifi router be set to have a "guest" connection that does not require a password so email and whatsapp can be used to communicate on site prior to getting in. We didn't receive the door code from Booking.com before we got there (not the host's fault), and needed to contact the host, but had to drive back 15 minutes to where we had cell reception to call.
