Negative: The tracks and 24/7 freight transport are right in front of the house (literally) which makes it impossible to sleep with an open window, albeit this is needed for the apartment under the roof without air-conditioning.

Negative: However, the experience was marred by significant cleanliness and maintenance issues. Upon arrival, the apartment was in an unacceptable state for any standard, let alone one advertised as “spotlessly clean” and rated 4 stars. Cobwebs and spiders were present, the fridge was visibly dirty with an unpleasant odor, and the bin cabinet emitted a strong smell. Towels developed a damp scent after a single use, and the washing machine was unusable due to a persistent odour. Cleaning was handled by individuals displaying an unprofessional attitude; after a polite request to remove the cobwebs and spiders, the staff were overheard giggling nearby. The owners explained that the oversight was due to their holiday absence, but the condition suggested long-term neglect rather than an isolated lapse. In summary, while the setting was everything one could hope for in terms of peace and scenery, the lack of basic cleanliness and the disparity between the listing’s promises and the reality on arrival left the overall experience falling far short of 4-star expectations.
