Positive: Host was waiting for us upon arrival to present the key. We needed a rental car which the host gracefully helped us with obtaining. The room was very comfortable and the AC works very well.

Positive: A small hide away on a busy street within easy walking distance from the ferry, bus stops and a few shops. The small kitchen had the equipment and cleaning supplies but no tea, coffee, salt or spices. Be warned that most shops are closed on Sunday afternoons, so plan accordingly. The shower is small but has good pressure and a nice head. The bed is hard with only a sheet but there are spare blankets in the cupboard and a good air con. Overall a good stopover on your way.

Positive: The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The apartment provided all you need. It was quiet. The windows are darkened so that nobody can see in from the street; you have privacy. You can park your car in front of the house. I liked the location close to the ferry.
Negative: I had the impression each single word was "too much" for the hosts. Ahead of the stay Michel replied very shortly but - as it turned out - this wasn't due to a language problem. His parents were there for the check-in. I had hundreds of bookings in the past but never before someone was so taciturn as they were. There was not a single word of small talk. I had the impression they don't like Western tourists or that they didn't like the fact that I had already booked a car somewhere else (they have an own car rental). The first 2 days I had no warm water. Michel's father made it look, as if I hadn't turned the handle in the direction of the red dot (what I do my whole lifetime and had tried before, for sure). After I told them there wasn't warm water, they turned it on. The only kitchen equipment I wanted to use was the electric kettle (to heat up water). When I wanted to use it for the first time, there was water inside and at the bottom was a copper-colored substance.

Positive: Great location - 10 minutes by walk from the port.
Negative: There could be bigger trash bin, it is really small and it was full when we put there 2 boxes of food and the cleaning staff didn't throw the waste during cleaning, so we had to buy trash bag. Also we didn"t have enough toilet paper, the last day we run out of it.

Positive: We sent just 1 night in this location therefore it is a bit difficult for me to give a comprehensive opinion. The place is some 15 minutes walk from the ferry (which was the reason for us to book it). A bus stop is relatively close. The place itself was impeccably clean and the mattress was comfortable. This is a self catering please. Please note, (unless this varies on different occasions) you will need to get such basics as oil, salt, sugar. The host let us leave our luggage after the check out.
