Positive: I had wanted to stay at the hotel for a while as I have been to the area a few times over the years. It didn't quite come up to expectation. Maybe I was hoping for too much. First off though, parking and checking in were great. Staff very helpful and friendly and I was able to get an early check-in absolutely no bother. They also offered good advice on the cable car situation which was great as I was there for the hiking and mountain biking. Great location for the cable cars and bike hire store. Parking is very easy and supermarket, shops and cinema right on doorstep. I didn't get to see the gym or spa as I was out all day. The restaurant alongside was good quality but expensive. (Supermarket below the hotel). Room seemed to be trying a little too hard to be stylish. It was laid out in a rather odd way. (I stay in hotels 9 months of the year with my work as a tour guide so I see a lot of rooms!)
Negative: It had a door that adjoined another room and the noise came through easily. Not a massive complaint but for 250CHF for one night it is a big outlay for a room that was also very narrow and not massively comfortable and quite dark inside, especially the bathroom. "Balcony" outside wasn't private and didn't have a great view. Not a big deal for me as I was out all day on the mountain but I could see it being a disappointment for others.
Summary: Great location, very nice staff. Maybe trying too hard to be bijoux and stylish. Expensive.

Positive: We stayed in the summer, so the place was pretty quite. The room was excellent for a family of 4, or 2 couples sharing. The sliding door/walls between areas, allowed it to become like a flat with separate rooms. The rooms are finished to an excellent standard, the automatic foot lights at night were a great feature to get around. The kitchen was high standard and drying room was great when we came back from the lake and would be great for skiers. The view from the beds, was pretty spectacular. Having the gondola on the roof of the hotel was a great feature.
Negative: The spa was great, a pool would have been nice. But very little to criticise about this place.
Summary: The high standard rooms that were more like an apartment.

Positive: Location is fantastic in the centre of Flims. Easy and secure to park. The rooms are nice and restaurant / bar great. Service was friendly.
Negative: The hotel feels a bit like staying in a shopping mall.
