Positive: Very quiet and safe. The bathrooms and beds were very clean. I was very happy and pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room. The AC worked great too. First time I’ve stayed in a hotel where the AC was working perfectly with no musty smell or waiting for the cold air to come on.

Negative: The odor in the common areas. Not sure if it was cleaner or musty or a mix of both. And the carpets looked filthy in those areas and the rooms too.

Summary: I was not expecting the hotel to be so good. Very happy with my stay! I was able to completely rest!

Positive: Not a large motel, so I didn't have to walk far to get to my room. Big bathroom

Negative: There was a very bad smell in the upstairs hallway- think Leftover spicy cooking and nursing home (EEK!) There were some stains on the carpet that were questionable and the ceiling...

Summary: It was ok for the night to go hiking nearby.

Positive: I liked that you had a small continental breakfast. The room was ok - maybe get some new comforters for the bed to spruce up the room. Great location for the work trip I was there for.

Positive: Big thank you to the manager (Katherine) for accommodating my various requests and offering an excellent customer service. The hotel is exactly as described and the breakfast was great, fresh fruit and pastries on top of other options.

Negative: Just keep in mind that the hotel is not that close to Cornell (no issue if you have a car, a 15 min drive but almost an hour walk).

Positive: Absolutely ideal location for our needs, could not have been better! The windows actually opened, which was great as I often like to open the windows a bit to sleep. The room and bathroom were quite clean. The fridge worked well and was much appreciated for holding our food (there was also a microwave which we didn't need to use). There's a carwash next door which was a little noisy at times during the day, but of course it was closed overnight so this didn't present any issues for sleeping, which is what really matters. The water tasted excellent!

Negative: Curiously, our room only had hot water - very hot, in fact! We used ice from the ice machine to cool it down for drinking. I guess I'd rather have no cold water than no hot water, since mostly what I use hotel room water for is showering, which is better with hot water. But both cold and hot would have been ideal. Also, the heat was on quite a high setting and we were unable to turn it down. Fortunately we could open the windows to cool down the room. Finally, one of our windows lacked a screen. There were no bugs out yet so this didn't matter, but it would be a bigger deal if there were bugs, so hopefully they will replace the screen soon.
