Summary: If you stayed here when it was Sandy Shoes Resort, you probably won't like it now. I feel sorry for the manager Stephanie as the new owners have made her job hard having to put out problem after problem due to their remodel done on the cheap. There are no longer any true kitchens and even the upgraded rooms only have a mini-fridge (and no oven). Trying to make it "smart" caused in a 5-day period for the the WIFI to be out two days (including all TVs on rainy days), locks to lock you out, and AC problems. It used to be a great place to spend multiple days or a week, but the remodel is designed to be like a hotel for one night. Except it does not have the amenities of nice hotel. For a $150 less go to the Hilton. The location is still great as it is away from the crowds, but hopefully it can be changed backed to what it was like in the past as a great place to spend a week. Until then look elsewhere.

Summary: I have stayed here a few times, but not since it’s been renovated. They did wonderful renovations. I do wish there was a sink in the living room next to the coffee maker, but we use the bathroom sink. Also I didn’t see where the ice machine was, but there was an ice bucket in the room, everything was wonderful. We had a wonderful stay.

Summary: This hotel is newly renovated so modern apartment looking rooms. Clean and adequate parking. Staff are gone by 5pm so noone on site but they do reapond well and checkin was easy. The biggest problem we had was that they have half a kitchenette. There is no wash sink and no cutlery and so if you wish to barbecue or bring back something to eat there is no way to wash up except use the bathroom. We had very windy weather so unfortunately could not swim the whole 3 days we were there and there is no private balcony you have to sit in the communal walk way. The rooms are very light however you have to close the curtains almost all day for any kind of privacy. They do not have a restaurant in walking distance so you have to go by car or bike somewhere for food. It was very expensive for not having some basic needs and comforts.

Summary: Wonderful stay. Great location being just the perfect seclusion but not to far from restaurants and grocery store. Old Florida vibe but with modern amenities. Very helpful staff.

Summary: Beautifully renewed, with uptodate accommodations. Spacious 1 BR studios. IThe rainshower in the BR was a treat. However, one suggestion would be to install a shelf or two in the shower stall for soap/ shampoo and such. A small but glaring omission that can be easily corrected.

Summary: A hidden gem!! I stayed here with some of my family and we absolutely loved it. After the busyness of Orlando, we were looking for a place to unwind for a few days and this place was perfect. The rooms were newly renovated with a beautiful, laid-back, beachy vibe and the views are stunning. The staff are friendly, accessible, and so accommodating. I definitely recommend this place and there is no question that we will be returning.

Summary: This place was exactly what we needed after the hectic crowds of Orlando and theme parks. Check-in was easy and Stephanie is a super attentive and accessible host. The rooms were beautifully refurbished and the private beach area was so so nice. Would go back for sure!
