Positive: The breakfast food selection was good. The room size was average (not big, not small) Good location, close to the city center, walkable.

Negative: The thermostat for the room AC unit was malfunctioning. The first night, the room temperature wasn't comfortable. It was not possible to set the thermostat to the appropriate temperature. The second night, the AC thermostat worked ok after I let the front desk know about the AC issue. The carpeted areas in the room need an upgrade. The window glass (inside face) wasn't clean.

Summary: My stay was good, but not a excellent as I was expecting for a Melia hotel.

Positive: Modern, good location, good breakfast

Negative: Room too hot - tried to use air conditioning but it was set to winter/heat mode. They said open the window but we couldn’t because of very loud music from cycle event! It costs €15 extra to use the pool plus extra for a cap & flip flops - crazy! We’ve already paid top price for the hotel…why charge us extra😡
