Mellow Mermaid at Beachrelaxmore is the best on the water in the Gulfport art district. Right across the street from the beach & thru the courtyard you’ll find Mellow Mermaid!! Totally remodeled with all new appliances, etc. Next to public transport, city center, art and culture, parks. You’ll love your own private patio with plenty of chairs, table and umbrella and we even offer a nice private shared courtyard, privacy, ambiance, restaurants, neighborhood, our larger, other courtyard and access to restaurants galore. Spend your nights dancing with lessons (when available) at the historic Gulfport Casino! Great for honeymooners, couples, solo adventurers, friends getaway, small families.
The historic Gulfport Casino is an event venue, If you like gambling, check out the Hard Rock Casino, it’s only 37 minutes away.
Two bedrooms, (one with a queen bed and one with a full bed), living room includes a comfy queen posturepedic fold out sofa for additional guests. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. We also have two other cottages available -just ask. WiFi provided and unit is fully furnished. Sleeps 6. Newly upgraded and renovated. All new appliances. If you have specialty shows you like to keep up with, Netflix, etc we suggest bringing your own fire-stick. For security purposes, we have "outdoor only" front and back of home monitoring for security and storm/hurricane purposes.
In addition to the Mellow Mermaid Cottage, you have your own large private patio and access to the larger courtyard for parties and larger get-togethers.
Dog under 35 lbs. is considered for approval with restrictions and pet cleaning fee paid prior to checkin. Sorry, but absolutely no kitty cats allowed.
Completely furnished. Additional Beach towels and chairs furnished. On site laundry. Beautiful sidewalks and beachside swings across the street by the bay. So close to EVERYTHING!
Gulfport is like old Key West Florida before it went commercial. Quiet and quaint town, many artists and farmers market every Tuesday with many venders. A town of many unique stores. Gulfport is very dog friendly with many events and lots of activity. There is so many things to do, karaoke, dancing, exercise classes, beach volleyball, basketball, too many to list.
No need to drive, everything is within walking distance. The beach, store, restaurants, unique shops, etc. Public transport is right down the street. Uber and Lyft are plentiful. Far enough from the noise from town, yet close enough to walk to easily. You’ll love it!

Summary: Our family enjoyed our time at the Mellow Mermaid tremendously. The house is well appointed with everything you need. The kitchen has all the tools, pans, and dishes. The big patio has very comfortable chairs and big gas grill. They even provide beach chairs, coolers, and towels! We enjoyed being able to take a quick walk to the beach and playground. Walking just a few blocks to dinner one night was nice. The Mellow Mermaid is close to Eckerd, so it was easy for us to see our child after classes. It’s also close to other beaches that we like to frequent. We all enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

Summary: The Mellow Mermaid was charming, comfortable and clean. The moment we arrived we felt at home. The location was perfect, once we parked the car we never had to use it until we had to leave. Gulfport is a wonderful friendly community with wonderful restaurants and shops. We enjoyed quiet morning walks, the beach, friendly people and the artistic flair of Gulfport.

Summary: Excellent location. We absolutely loved staying in this super clean, fully stocked, roomy, updated cottage. Courtyard was wonderful to hang out and chill with our dog. Communication with Kelly was perfect and she made sure all our needs were met. We’ll definitely come back to this gem.

Summary: We had a great stay at the Mellow Mermaid at Beach Relaxmore. This very comfortable and clean cottage has an extremely well-stocked kitchen, which we really appreciate since we enjoy cooking for ourselves when traveling. If you do want to eat out, Beach Boulevard is right down the street, with lots of great restaurants! We love Beach Relaxmore and Gulfport, and look forward to returning next year!

Summary: We stayed at the Mellow Mermaid from 10/1/22 to 10/8/22 in Gulfport FL. Hurricane Ian landed in Fl. 3 days before our arrival. Kelly and Keith checked out the property prior to our arrival and let us know we could arrive. The property was just as described. A small beach cottage tucked back from the street. It was quite and relaxing week. The cottage is clean and decorated in a fun beach/mermaid décor. There are plenty of towels and blankets. There are games, 3 beach chairs and a beach umbrella. Gulfport Beach is not a powdery beach but a well kept beach just down the street. Restaurants and bars are a short walk yet far enough away to not have the noise and traffic. It is a great location for just getting away and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We had a lovely last minute long weekend stay. We were comfortable, had good wifi and enjoyed the dog friendly community. Thank you! The treats and gift bags were a plus. The only thing I can suggest is citronella candles for the outside and nicer wine glasses. Everything else was great!

Summary: I loved the house!! Gorgeous! The owners were great.. however I was a bit disappointed because I thought I was on the beach, the real beach st Pete . There wasn’t anything to do except eat or drink which I don’t drink. I also was deceived because map said I was close to a casino. That was not a casino and wasn’t even open. I did nothing but eat and watch tv. Tried to go to real beach and it was more than 20 mins drive, but we got rained on . So my trip was a flop! I do say if your looking for a place just for rest and food and alcohol this is a great place!!
