Our house sits on a large lot (3.2 acres) sloping all the way to the lake. Sitting 100' above & 500' away from the shoreline, it is quiet & private. From the lake as well as from the house you'll enjoy stunning views of the lake, the islands and the mountains. The western orientation will provide wonderful sunsets view! 175' of private shoreline and a large deck & floating docks will let you enjoy the lake year-round. Its 3 bedroom & 2 1/2 bathroom + extra sleeping area comfortably accommodate 8 peoples. It is a well equipped house with all modern amenities. A large dining table inside and another one on the terrace as well as the double sized living room are all suited for eight people. A cozy fireplace complete this country perfect place.

Summary: We were looking for a pet-friendly and scenic location close to Magog to visit family and found a little piece of heaven in Paul and Julie's property. The views from the house and the dock were breathtaking. Yes. There are a number of steps to get to the lake but the tranquility and beauty found at the water's edge was worth the effort. We felt very safe exploring the bays and islands around Mont Owl's Head with the canoe and equipment provided by our host. We are experienced paddlers and found the natural beauty of the area to be spectacular. Walks and rides in the neighbourhood were equally rewarding with views in every direction. Elements of mountain life, cottaging and country living are on the doorstep here! The Tomifobia Bike trail was a short drive away and perfect for walks on flatter terrain for our elders. The house was comfortable and well equipped. It felt like home and was perfect for hosting our small family gathering. Paul could not have been more accommodating and supportive, helping to make our stay a memorable one.

Summary: We had a very relaxing time. The cottage is set in cedar woods overlooking the lake. Above the lake so not too visible from Lake or road. Enough land around to be private and quiet. Cottage is comfortable with complete kitchen and 21/2 baths. Everything you need is there. Only drawback for some might be the 200+ steps to the lake. Not for those with problems with mobility.

Summary: This home was perfect for our two-month stay. It's out in the country (~15-25 min to grocery stores, for example) and the peace and stillness were just what we needed. The home has a beautiful view of the lake and it only takes a few minutes to walk down to the private dock to enjoy the lake. We work remotely and the internet was fine for video calls and streaming netflix. Mobile coverage at the house is fine, as well. There were some electrical outages (random and planned) and internet outages during storms, but this seems to be common for the area and wasn't too disruptive. The home is equipped with pretty much everything you need for cooking and enjoying the lake, like raclette and fondue equipment, all the pots/pans you could want, spices, etc. and a canoe and kayak, along with all required gear. It does have lots of stairs, so wouldn't be accessible if mobility is a challenge. It's well-equipped with linens, shampoo/condition/soap, hair dryer and other bathroom essentials. The soaking tub is wonderful. Cleaning supplies are provided. The owner was very flexible, responsive and accommodating. Communication was smooth and easy. This home would also be perfect for a family gathering as there are many rooms and lots of outdoor deck space with grill, as well. Highly recommend this home!

Summary: We loved the house, location and QUIET. We were looking for a getaway where we could just unwind and that is exactly what we did. Kitchen well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Used Chromecast to watch football and our favourite tv shows. (My tv provider doesn’t work well with Roku). Magog was just a short drive away if we needed anything. Of course having fantastic weather in October made it over the top. Our son’s family came for Thanksgiving weekend, they loved it. Got the same back from my sister and my brother when they visited. The view is just breathtaking. Paul was just a text msg away if we needed info and always replied very quickly. This will be our place to go to recharge from now on. Thank you Paul & Julie.
