Summary: We loved our stay. The property was perfect for our needs as a group of three families. Great location, fantastic house with everything we needed and more.

Summary: A spacious house with pool set in a quiet rural location. House was reasonably well equipped, clean and comfortable. All went well until after we had left. The owner withheld some of our deposit, claiming we had broken a paving stone beside the pool. This had happened before we arrived and we pointed it out to the owner before we left, and that there were other cracked pavings around the pool. They still took the money, which is absurd amount for a broken stone. Tried to communicate with the owner several times to ask for an explanation but never received a reply. So - expect to pay much more that you bargained for.

Summary: We were there during the heatwave and temperatures were between 35/40oC . Air conditioning would have been very welcome in the larger Villa. We had a defunct toilet seat in the main bedroom for the whole holiday , We reported it to Cecile three times.

Summary: We could have had a good vacation here, since the house was superficially very attractive but there were too many bad things about our stay to make it enjoyable. The separate house developed a very bad smell and although we complained to the agent about this it appeared impossible for the plumber who was called in to do anything about it. The ground floor bedroom in the main house (overlooking the pool) flooded each time it rained, with rain coming in underneath both doors and soaking the curtains and floor - disconcerting to get out of bed and unexpectedly having to walk through pools of water. Essentially the owners appeared to have an uncaring attitude to their tenants and were reluctant to provide essential equipment, for example the house was poorly equipped with cleaning implements, necessary for our 2 week stay (the cleaners who came during our stay were only supposed to clean bathrooms). We had to ask the agent for a working vacuum cleaner and mops, since with several small children the living and eating areas needed to be cleaned quite often. These cost so little compared to the price for renting the property. We should not have had to keep asking the agent to provide all the things that were missing We would certainly never rent this property again.
