Summary: Exactly as stated, this home provided an extended family stay ages 6 months- 67 year olds with beautiful views and plenty of space. Wonderful owners. Responsive, respectful of privacy and went above and beyond with some personal touches for the younger ones in the group.

Summary: Staying at Ed's property was an overall wonderful experience! We had 12 women for a bachelorette and the house was gorgeous and comfortably fit us all. Ed was a lovely host and was very responsive whenever I had a question. The grounds of the house were equally as beautiful as the house. There was a fire pit, and we were able to make s'mores one of the nights. It's about a 15-20 min drive to most of the vineyards. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: This is a large, wonderful house for staying together as a group. As noted, there are 3 private bedrooms. The loft has 4 more separate spaces/rooms-- each with walls and a door, but open ceilings. The loft is cute and clean and comfortable, but the noise from the main rooms does carry up to the loft. We found eye masks and ear plugs/white noise helpful for the family members that slept up there. The grounds are gorgeous (vineyard, pond, woods). The deck, patio, and porch were great for sitting on and relaxing. Ed couldn't have been nicer! He was great at communicating and answering questions. This is a lovely house and setting!

Summary: I can’t say enough about Meriwether Springs. Ed is great to work with and was very responsive. The house allows plenty of room to spread out. It was well stocked and clean. The property is beautiful.

Summary: Beautiful property in close proximity to a multitude of wineries and breweries, the University of Virginia, and downtown Charlottesville. Great house for 3 couples with children as it has 3 bedrooms with queen beds and a loft that is partitioned into 4 bedrooms - 2 with double beds and 2 with 2 twin beds. The loft has one bathroom, there is 1 queen bedroom with 1 bathroom on the main floor with the well-equipped kitchen, large dining table and living room, and there are two queen bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the downstairs floor (where the main entry is located). Plenty of parking and outdoor space. Ed is a wonderful and extremely responsive host. For example, there was a shortage of washcloths when we arrived. I texted Ed and he had Target deliver new washcloths the next morning. 😁 The only disappointing thing for our group was that the house was advertised as having a winery on premises with a pizza truck. Upon our arrival, we found out that the winery had been closed. Still a wonderful house for a large group!

Summary: I stayed here with a group of 13 for a bachelorette party. The property was perfect with lots of space for us to spread out. Ed was great communicating before and during the visit. I would highly recommend this place!

Summary: First of all Ed was AMAZING. He gave us a wonderful walk through and even helped bring our bags and groceries in at checkin. He was easy to communicate with and really made us feel welcomed at the property. He was willing to help us in any way even offering to run into town for us if we were in need of anything! The space is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect setting to celebrate with friends. Plus the views are amazing!! We toured several wineries in the area and it was easy to get to and from locations via Uber. I hope I have the chance to stay here again!!

Summary: We were blown away by the beautiful space both inside and outside the home. We were able to make the space our own, but Ed was available for anything we needed (including running over a last minute shipped item from his mailbox!). Truly an amazing stay with a more amazing host!
