Summary: The Meyer Hotel is a collection of historic and new buildings offering guests unique experiences. I especially enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the river and watching deer. A very short walk from the hotel is the local bar, a pizza place, all just around the corner from an exceptional coffee shop. This historic town kept surprising me and it started with the Meyer Hotel.

Summary: My husband and I appreciated our weekend stay in the Hill Country. The hotel is centrally located in the very small unincorporated town of Comfort, with antique shops in walking distance, along with a few great restaurants. Most places in the area were within walking distance, including the winery with a lovely tasting room. I will definitely return.
