Summary: 2nd time staying here passing through on our way to Denver. The room was clean spacious and looked recently remodeled. AC worked Great! It was sometimes hard to find a staff person at the desk area. Will definitely stay again. It was better than the Quality inn across the street for sure

Summary: Our experience was not an issue with the actual hotel. Our issue was hotels.com overbooked the room we were supposed to have. We asked for a 2 queen bed and be ause the hotel was booked we ended up in a 1 double bed lower cost room.

Summary: It was a great stay. There was no problem with the room except a brief period when the electric was cutting on and off. That was a hotel wide issue and I don’t know how, but it was resolved quickly. The bed was a little soft for me (in that always a subjective view?), but not enough for me to not get a good night’s sleep. We felt safe at the location. There are quite a few food options from pizza delivery to a sit-down steakhouse available in the close vicinity. I would recommend staying here.

Summary: Let me start with a positive. Jon checked us in and he was very accommodating when our first room smelled like an ashed tray. That’s where it ends. The pillows were torture devices. You should definitely bring your own unless you like lumpy things in your neck all night long. If you like a stiff bed, like one level up from sleeping on the floor then you will be okay. The housekeeping is definitely lacking here. The walls of the bathroom were dirty and there was blood on the door as we walked into our room. I have been staying in Raton for decades on our way to Vail and I promise you it is worth it to spend the extra money for the Quality Inn across the street. The company should value John for his great customer service or this would be a one star across the board!
