The Cottage has a large living area with two large rooms, a walk in shower and kitchen with all the amenities you will need to cook a meal. Plenty of entertainment with XBox 1, Netflix, Amazon, and a record player. The Rye cafe is just a couple houses down for a good breakfast menu, and pizza!
The A frame was built by the chief of police, and at one time had all 911 calls come to this location.

Summary: Nice two bedroom cottage, very accommodating host (changed our reservation twice on him and he was all right with it all). Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a great time, Levi was very helpful, shopped at the boutique and had a couple of good meals at the cafe. We went to Bishops Castle, Lake Isabel and Lake Beckwith. The house is quite lovely.

Summary: The only negative thing is that the AC/ Attic fan had gone out and that issue was not disclosed when renting the house. On arrival it was 80+ degrees in the house and after contacting owner on how to work thermostat he informed me that the cleaning lady had purchased a portable AC and that it didn’t get hot in the mountains (it was 90 degrees that day) Otherwise, the stay was great and owner was pleasant.

Summary: I booked this property because we were meeting family and friends in Rye. The location was excellent, LOVED eating next door at The Rye Cafe, and enjoyed shopping at The Main St. Boutique. The kitchen was well stocked, the home had everything we needed. The beds were comy and the shower was A+! My traveling companion was my 81 yr old mom. The only downsides to the stay were that some features of the home were hard for her to navigate ( back stairs to the backyard, low light areas inside) but there's nothing to do about those. Plenty of in house entertainment with board games, record player, etc.
