Summary: Another absolutely excellent stay! I've stayed a couple of nights on 12 seperate occasions. One of my favorite places to stay anywhere. I've stayed in 40+ states, 12 countries, and a couple of protectorates across 4 continents. Friendly and accommendating staff who are of great service. Could not recommend highly enough, especially because of their pet policy. Thank you!

Summary: Place was well located and clean. The staff was great. We did have a problem with one electrical outlet that we let the staff know and they tried to take care of it and put in a repair notice.

Summary: Was disappointed how clean the bathroom was. There was hair and a hairpin on the floor with some other debris and the inside of the toilet did not look clean. Some of the bathroom looked renovated but the toilet was old.

Summary: Historic and beautifully maintained inn with clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Helpful staff and good food at the tavern housed inside the inn. Centrally located and easy to find. A perfect spot from which to explore Middlebury and the surrounding area while getting a taste of historic Vermont.

Summary: The staff was very nice and answered any question we had. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. If we couldn't find it in the room the staff got it for us. The tavern food was delicious and the wait staff very pleasant. We needed gluten free meals and they made it happen.

Summary: Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was not as marketed. The luxury room was supposed to have a sofa - we were informed that two of these "luxury" rooms did not have a sofa. Bath was tiny, which begs the question of what made this room any different than a regular room except us paying an additional $30/night.. Lobby was nice place to sit. Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat there. AC was temperamental but functioned.

Summary: My first room was in the Annex, and it smelled damp and moldy. I requested a room change and the gentleman in the front desk could not have been kinder or more obliging. He helped me take my baggage to the new room, which was lovely. He was friendly and took a personal interest in making me feel like a welcome guest.

Summary: This quaint old inn has a main building, where I stayed, and two modern buildings behind it. The restaurant on the first floor was great for dinner, especially on the front veranda. This was classic old-school with stately chair and decorum. I loved the bathtub and the bed. The desk and separate chair were well-placed, Glad for the experience.
