Negative: Needs a good clean. We arrived at about 4pm. The rolled-up towels on our beds were still wet. Not adequate sheets on the bed, one bed smelled so my son ended up on the couch each night. No facetowels, tea towels, dishclothes and one roll of toilet paper. Weirdly we were left with about 8 hand towels though. When I went to the linen cupboard everything was screwed up and thrown in, I couldn't tell what was clean and what wasn't. Everything could do with a good scrub, there are ants in the bathroom the skirting boards are very dirty and so is under any furniture. Lights in the bathroom and kitchen flicker. If the owners can get the cleaners to do their job properly it could be a really nice place to stay. I don't normally leave a long review but this place cleanliness wise was a real let down.

Positive: It was a great unit. Location was great. Spacious living and dining rooms. Free parking and wifi. Complete kitchen and laundry facilities.
Negative: It is just sad that the owner is being duped by their cleaners as the property isn’t cleaned properly at all. Bed sheets from previous renters were still there and the rubbish were not emptied. Used towels on the floor. Front and back yard weren’t cleaned up- lots of leaves accumulated on the ground. We arrived at the property at 6.20pm. We had to double check if it was our unit as it looked like someone else was occupying it when we checked in and they were returning any minute. I had to contact David (owner) to see if they could address the issues. We left the house after 10 minutes of checking in and taking photos as we have an event to attend. We returned at 10.50pm and the cleaners have just arrived. We had to leave the property whilst they clean it and they sent a text message saying they have finished at 11.26pm but asked us to come half an hour later as the floor was still wet. The rubbish were collected but not the one in the bathroom with dirty nappies still in it. This property has a lot of potential and we would love to stay there again but I don’t think that we would be rushing back as cleaning is unpredictable. Bathroom door going to second bedroom doesn’t close. Shower door needs new magnet installed to close properly so water won’t leak out. Screen door on main entrance needs to be fixed as it is not locking - just fixed into “open” even when using keys.
