Positive: The host was amazing and very accommodating. The location on the beach strip was extremely convenient. Mikes has an attached market for your basic necessities and the Captain’s Bar offered meal and games options for the entire family

Positive: The location is almost right on the beach (there is just a restaurant/shop between the rooms and the beach). It is convenient having the shop/restaurant in the same building. The rooms had plenty of space and were comfortable. There were cute baby kittens in the garden. The beach promenade has many more restaurants and activities, just minutes away. The beach was good quality, with good sand and clean water, and not overly crowded. Parking is available. There was a side sea view from the balcony.

Negative: Overall the place was great. But we did have one major complaint: there was an infuriating and unworkable design to the electric/locks/doors. The electric and A/C would only work if all doors were closed. We were 4 people, and had 2 balconies, so usually at least one person wanted to be sitting out on the balcony. However, the design was such that either everyone had to be on the balcony or everyone inside. I know it's hard to explain but, the balcony door would only open from one side, so someone would be locked out if they went there on their own and closed the door. If anyone opened the door to go to the balcony then all the electric, wifi, and A/C would turn off. This was quite uncomfortable. I suggest the host just get rid of the card/lock/electric system, and also install balcony doors with handles on both sides. I understand they don't want us to run the A/C when everyone is on the balcony (even though someone else may want to be sleeping in the bedroom then), but we did need the electric to work even when someone was on the balcony.

Positive: The location is behind a full service beach side restaurant that offers renters 10% discount. This means access to the beach and dining is very good. Our 2 bedroom "apartment" had 2 balconies where one can have breakfast or relax while feeling the breeze and seeing the sea. You must have one of the top floor better rooms to enjoy this. The supermarket at the ground floor and the one next door are a plus. Many car rental agencies nearby make renting a car for the whole stay unnecessary unless you intend to wander the island every day. Cleaning service was great. Discrete and thorough.

Negative: There were no mosquito nets at the windows and doors. The balcony doors could not be closed from outside. Except for the two bedroom apartment we rented, there are no double beds available. Mosquitos were few and not very bothersome during our October stay.
