Positive: The place is brand new and freshly renovated, kitchen has everything you need.

Negative: -There is no lock on your bedroom, you're basically leaving your valuables inside hoping that your housemates are fine, and even if they are, that they are locking the main door. -The listing advertises a common space - a lounge with a sofa, tv etc. Don't be mistaken, this is not available to use. The host sleeps there. The bathroom is also shared. -There isn't a single place to sit down, you're either sat on the bed, or you're standing. When you heat your food, you can either stand in the kitchen or sit on your bed. Not even a small bedside table. Our phone, water bottle, keys all went on the floor. We tried to use the outside garden furniture to sit and eat (littered with cigarette stubs), but the person who owned the furniture said it was his, which is fair enough. It is the hosts responsibility to provide basic seating for guests, even if it's just bar stools and a small bar/shelf. -When we raised these issues via a direct message to the host, they told us to check the booking listing, even though the booking listing listed a private bathroom, and a lounge! The place is fine if you are literally wanting to come in sleep and go. But if you want to use the kitchen or even just sit down on your butt, we wouldn't recommend it.

Positive: Very clean, all looks very new. Nice shower and kitchen facilities. Owner very helpful and pleasant

Negative: Not so much of a didn't like but disappointed no TV in the room.

Positive: The host, Peter, was very good. I arrived on a day where there were significant public transport disruptions, so he picked me up from the rail station.

Negative: The bed filled the entire length of the room, so getting from one side of the room to the other could only be done by going over the bed. The mattress was old and had a few lumps. There was nowhere to put luggage and no bedside table, so everything had to go on the floor.

Positive: The place looked decent and cleaned to a good standard. The location was convenient to me and the check-in was fairly easy.

Negative: Apparently it was a shared bathroom...it was not mentioned on Booking at all, otherwise I would've NOT booked. The host tried to explain and apologise about the situation as apparently according to him, he put the "shared bathroom" option but something went wrong. Just double-check this before you book in case that's an issue for you.
