Million dollar view on a quiet cul de sac with free off street parking! Our studio apartment is just a few minutes from E Carson Street in the South Side with all of the shopping, food and night life you can fit into a weekend! . Its less than 10 minutes to the heart of downtown, and to all of the stadiums, universities, cultural arts venues, hospitals and more! it is a simple drive to I-376 which take you to Monroeville or Robinson within 20 minutes.
Our studio is the bottom unit of a 2 unit house with its own private entrance and plenty of off street parking. Fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar with a Keurig for your morning coffee! High speed internet and a 42” TV equipped local channels that come in off an antenna and an Amazon fire stick for all of your streaming apps! (Be sure to bring your log in and passwords!) Weather permitting, the deck outside has a breathtaking view of the city of Pittsburgh and is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, reading a book, getting some sun, getting some work done or a romantic evening with cocktails.
You will have the entire studio apartment and access to your own private deck outside with a view you won’t forget!
We can be reached easily for any questions or concerns. We respond promptly. We only come past the property during your stay if you have asked for something to be dropped off for you or if there is an emergency.

We understand that plans can change, but please note that during the cancellation policy period, refunds cannot be provided for trip modifications or changes. This includes needing to check out early during your stay.

The South Side is a very eclectic part of Pittsburgh. It is a "come as you are," everyone is welcome kind of place. You will see all walks of life around here. Feel free to talk to a local, South Siders are very friendly! There's lots to learn about Pittsburgh and the South Side is a great place to start!
The home is located in the Southside SLOPES. It’s called that for a reason. And you know what they say…. You have to drive “up” to get a view!! It’s not the craziest hill ever, but it’s a hill for sure. The driveway also has a “slope” but it’s flat at the bottom and we’ve never had an issue with a car getting in or out… unless it snows, unexpectedly. Then it gets fun. 😀
Pittsburgh has almost all the types of transportation you will find in a big city! A lot of guests say that there are plenty of things to do within walking distance, but we want to warn you that there is a hill that you will have to hike if you choose to walk. There is also a set of city steps that lead you from all the fun on E Carson right to the street that the studio is on, again, it’s a hike. Our Studio is easy to access by car, there are bus stops near by and the T-rail is a short drive where you can park your car and board. If youd rather not navigate the city yourself, there are taxis and always an Uber or Lyft just minutes away!
There are exterior security cameras for the safety of our guests and the protection of our investment. They are not checked unless they need to be.
We have amazing cleaners. They go above and beyond every time to make sure you feel like the only guest who’s ever stayed in our spaces. We pay them a living wage to show them how much they are appreciated. We thank you for helping us put food on their families' tables.
**The futon is 64 inches. 5ft 3in. It is short. Please take note of this when deciding you want to use it.**
Please understand, will have to drive up a hill to get to our studio. No life quote is more relevant to our space than this one.

You’re staying in the “Southside Slopes." Please understand that Pittsburgh is in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. The area is called the South Side Slopes for a reason and getting to our studio will take driving up a hill. The slope is a SLOPE. The driveway is on an incline (maybe saying it is on a SLOPE is more appropriate). The bottom where you park your car is flat. It’s never been an issue for someone to pull in or out of the driveway.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR LARGE GATHERINGS- THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE RULE FOR A REASON!!! Only the guests who are on the initial booking are allowed at the property unless otherwise agreed upon. This is because we have other guests in the building and we respect every guest's right to an enjoyable stay. If you throw a party, invite a bunch of unauthorized people, trash the place, disrespect or damage the unit you will be asked to leave with no refund and/or charged a fine of $200-$500, depending on the severity. If I have to refund the guest above you their money, you will be covering that as well. This will be strictly enforced and backed by Airbnb's No Party Policy. This is to ensure all guests and neighbors have the right to peace and serenity that they deserve in their home or home away from home.**
NO PETS- Absolutely NO PETS on the property. There is a $150 fee PER DAY for each unauthorized pet. We are proud to offer a pet dander-free home to those who are allergic**
NO SMOKING- Absolutely, positively NO SMOKING of ANY KIND inside the unit. This includes vaping. There is a zero-tolerance policy. There will be a $250 fine plus the cost of any damages or services used to rid the smoke smell. This also applies to the smell of weed, even if you didn’t “smoke” in the unit, per se, the unit still smells like it because flowers can be very potent. A lot of guests are offended by the smell of weed and will leave because of it. This rule is in place to ensure that every guest has an enjoyable experience, including the guest after you** 🍃🥦SMOKING IS PERMITTED **OUTSIDE** ON THE PRIVATE DECK- DECK IS 420 FRIENDLY!🥦🍃😮‍💨😉**
NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY- I don't need to elaborate. Don't do it. The safety of all of our guests, including yours, is our top priority. If a guest violates this, they will be asked to leave with no refund.**
NO VISITORS WITHOUT CONSENT- Again... There are to be absolutely NO UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS in the unit without prior consent. This is just another rule to ensure ALL guests have a pleasurable experience. It's simple. Just ask. If you invite unauthorized guests you will be asked to leave with no refund. This is a rule with the insurance company we carry the insurance through and also now a rule within the city limits of Pittsburgh.**
10 AM CHECKOUT- The cleaners will be by shortly after 10 am to clean the property. If you are not out when they arrive, you may be asked to pay a $50 fee for every hour you stay after. This fee is solely to pay for their time as they will have to wait outside for you to check out.**
4 PM CHECK-IN- The property will be accessible to you at 4 pm the day of your check-in. Airbnb will send you the check-in instructions on the day of check-in and will be permitted to enter at 4 p.m.**
DO YOUR BEST TO LEAVE THE PLACE AS YOU FOUND IT- We ask that you follow all checkout instructions posted in the listing and in the message you will receive the evening before checkout. There may be a $200 fine for excess messes. Please respect our cleaners. They work very hard to provide you with a clean and fully stocked unit. They take great pride in their work and want you to have a five-star stay. Please show appreciation by cleaning up after yourself.**
YOU BREAK IT YOU BUY IT- Pretty simple. If you damage something, you will be responsible for replacing it. We don't ask for a security deposit, ahead of time, in good faith that our guests will treat our home like it's theirs. If something breaks, please let us know immediately and we can figure out how to resolve the damage. We are very reasonable people and understand accidents happen. If our cleaners find it and you haven't mentioned it, you will be billed through the Airbnb Resolution Center and you will be charged the cost of the item. Please take care of our home. We have worked long and hard to obtain and maintain it. That's all that we ask.**
