This 1946 vintage renovated house is a birdlover's paradise and ideal writer’s retreat centrally located in the heart of Milton village with views of the sea and lush countryside. The vibe is fresh and modern with 1940s French style. The private bedroom and separate living room have views of nearby beaches: Conjola, Narrawallee and Green Island. Mollymook beach is a 5 minute drive. Wake to a delicious sea breeze, the sights and sounds of wonderful birdlife, horses and cows, often with the sound of the surf.
The separate Living room has wall mounted tv and good quality sofa.
Pet birds are welcome! Small dogs are allowed but not puppies.
There are a few conditions for dogs: they are not permitted in the carpeted rooms.

You're one minute walk to the historic village with unique shopping including handmade chocolates, quality restaurants, legendary cafes and bars. The last Southern Rainforest remnant is 50 metres away. Farmers markets are nearby. Pigeonhouse Mountain is a stunning backdrop on the escarpment and there are beautiful nature trails. Cupitt's Estate Winery, Rick Stein's Bannisters Restaurant and Gwylo Restaurant are less than a 10 minute drive.

Summary: Marion’s house was lovely and in a fantastic position to walk to the joys of Milton. Even though it’s close to the action, the house is quiet. Marion was friendly and helpful and speedy to respond to any questions we had. Would love to stay again.

Summary: The house was in a great location, close to shops etc. However access to the house from the footpath was difficult as the bottom step was quite steep, quite dangerous for the elderly or anyone with any mobility issues. The overall cleanliness was fine but we had a huge cockroach in the kitchen the second morning when we got up and the third morning had the lower part of a pear left in the wire fruit basket completely eaten through. We tried to close the kitchen window but discovered it was broken and just chocked up with a block of wood. We couldn't clean the window frames as the paint just fell off. The back room of the house was blocked off and was for the owner's private use. We had not been advised of this previously. This provided access to the backyard and clothesline. The ad did not mention this. We did not attempt to use the laundry underneath as the message advised us against using the backyard. A disappointing stay.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay in Milton at this gorgeous sunny, cottage so close to the charming shops and cafes. The prayer wheel in the rainforest was a beautiful walk. Such a great location ,we’ll definitely be back.
