Positive: Waking to the waves and falling asleep to the waves was pure bliss 🌊 Salvatore and his family were absolutely amazing!! So friendly and welcoming. The family bar below the apartments is perfect for snacks and drinks. It's great that restaurants and a little supermarket are close by to buy essentials and a few steps home after dinner. This is an exclusive little village so restaurants are much more expensive than the cities but the peace and privacy made it all worthwhile. Amalfi, Sorrento etc were all accessible from Mimi. Always heaven to get home after a long day! 😊
Negative: Be sure to check which apartment you book. There are numerous options and not all have a direct sea view. We were sad to have missed a balcony and direct view but loved hearing the waves. Our Split level apartment would be hard for people with mobility issues. No worries for us 👍Just something to keep in mind.

Positive: Like most reviewers have said before us, Marina del Cantone is an absolutely gorgeous spot on the globe. And the nicely refurbished apartments in an old fish house (apparenly) are run by a very welcoming family. The only challenge for us -senior citizens- were the multiple steps leading up to the flat. Our arrival, however, was made much easier by Salvatore’s father (a senior citizen himself!) who transported our luggage speedely up the flight of stairs. Thanks! Kristín & Thorir Thorisson, Iceland.
