This newly constructed wood and rock cabin has a front porch that overlooks a pond. It is perfect for a quiet, secluded get-away from the city. You can go hiking over the hills, fish down on the pond or just relax in the hammock. All kinds of native and exotic Texas wildlife can be seen on the property. The cabin is located just a half mile off Cade Loop road on 120 acres. This area is the most beautiful part of the Texas Hill Country. Though the cabin is out in the country, it is less than a five minute drive to the Guadalupe River and Ingram Lake. The cabin has 400 square feet of living area with a living room/ kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and large toaster oven. The living room has a couch that converts into a Queen bed. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower. Ceiling fans are in every room and there are two fans on the front porch. Electric hotel-like ac/heating units in the bedrooms keep you warm or cool. all of this, plus the modern convenience of Limited data ; FREE WI-FI! It is a perfect place for a couple or a small family. Special Notice the lake is full again. We have begun restocking with fish , We expect we will have catch and release again in the fall of 2025.There are more swimming and fishing opportunities on Lake Ingram 5 minutes away. So bring your Kayaks or conoes if you want.

Summary: Great place to getaway and relax. It was quiet, of the main road and the property and cabin were well maintained. Water level in the lake was good, and it was fun to watch the night come to life under the stars. We saw plenty of deer and even an armadillo came strolling by the porch on its way down to the lake to get some water. Good spot and would go back.

Summary: Peaceful private, away from city noise. We want it to stay longer. Very enjoyable and quiet. Because of this tranquility we didn’t miss TV. Very nice area and would recommend to anyone for nice getaway. I definitely keep this in mind. Thank you for your hospitality.

Summary: The cabin is just right for 1-2 people or a small family. It was comfortably furnished and very clean, which was so nice. The pond is nice but be aware that, at least when I was there, it was very low, so it does not look like the pictures. It was still nice to sit out on the patio during the cool mornings. The location is off a ranch road so it’s a little hard to get to, but it is peaceful. The AC unit is quite loud so if you are sensitive to noise at night you may find it bothersome but it was okay with me.
