Summary: We enjoyed out stay in Harristown. The property, though older and a little tired was very comfortable with just about everything we needed including access to a very large, fully fenced back yard for our pup. A broom and dustpan and brush would have been handy although there is a vacuum cleaner. The two beers in the fridge were much appreciated because the weather was quite warm early in our stay. The house has fans in the lounge room as well as air conditioning, the back bedroom also has an air conditioning unit, and the front bedroom has a ceiling fan. Two double beds were very comfortable. Linen and towels are supplied. There is also a large front loading washing machine and dryer. There is a small shopping centre very close by, within 5 minutes easy walking distance. It has a small supermarket, news agency, fish and chip shop, and a bottle shop as well as a Thai takeaway which was closed for Chris holidays at the time. Nowhere in Toowoomba is very far from anywhere. Within an easy drive are several larger shopping centres. Finally, although the back yard needed a tidy up with quite a bit of rubbish behind the locked garage, the property is well appointed, clean and neat. The two amazingly large frangipannis in the front yard are spectacular and we were fortunate enough to see them in full bloom. An great landmark to find your home in the dark, driving on unfamiliar streets. A big thank you to our hosts.

Summary: Overall the property was clean and serviceable. The house met my needs, while there are some things which could be better it was exactly what i was after. Good, comfy, shops nearby and close to town and the golf club

Summary: As said above it fit all of our needs, it was situated in a very good spot for our ten pin bowling tournament. The biggest plus for us though was the freedom we had by renting a house instead of staying in a hotel or in a block of apartments like we normally do. As for the house the only draw back was the water supply to the shower if you happened to have a shower when the washing machine was going. but saying that I have no doubt that the drought that they are experiencing at the present time had a lot to do with the water flow. All in all I would not hesitate to rent the house again if I ever get the opportunity to travel to Toowoomba again. A big thank you to Adam for allowing us to stay in his house. Geoff.
