Positive: The food is amazing (especially their desserts), the staff is very polite & helpful. Food places like Starbucks, McDonald's are at a 5 minutes run from the hotel. I was there for my National Competition, the venue (Campal Stadium) was at a walkable distance which was a bonus point for me + Mandovi Riverfront Promenda is at a walkable distance (it's a good place to sit & watch the sunset). My overall experience at Minimalist was great, would definitely go back there & highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking was a comfy & fun stay!

Negative: Nothing to not like about the hotel!

Positive: Excellent location. Very helpful staff from Mary at the reception to Shetty manning the bar and restaurant. Very tolerant towards pets and helped our pet cat have a pleasant stay as they even provide a pet mattress. Quality of breakfast and in room dining is even better than a 4 star hotel in quantity and taste. Reasonable price for in room dining and they go the extra mile to manage requests. In short this is a true value for money property with excellent location in Panjim / Miramar area which is the upmarket section of Goa (near the beach) and away from the extremely noisy and mundane sections of Calangute / Candolim / Anjuna which can be quite a stress on those that want a calmer holiday.

Negative: Some basic upkeep is needed as patches on the wall paper and small tears on the single seater in room 205. The LCD TV had a defect which was attended to and provided a replacement immediately.

Positive: As a solo female traveller, I feel safety, comfort and peace is utmost important. Minimalist gave me all this, along with a great room (great table to work and a serene view). The food is delicious and the coffee is just so good! The FIKA café downstairs is a great co-working space and parking is right across the property! Great stay!
