Welcome to Modern Chic! Thoughtfully designed to create a unique and low-profile vacation rental. This home comfortably accommodates a group of 6; family, friends or those traveling for work. Conveniently located 8 minutes to downtown historic Lake Elmo, 12 minutes to Historic Stillwater, the birthplace of Minnesota! 15 minutes to Woodbury and 25 minutes from MSP airport. Just a few minutes from a multitude of conveniences such as Grocery stores, Target and Restaurants.
Designed with modern and well-equipped interior spaces, this urban oasis features expansive windows that bring in natural light accentuating the lovely textures and minimalistic features of the home. The entire home is 3 bedrooms, living room, deck, laundry, 2 bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. Although minimalistic and fresh, each bedroom has plenty of drawer and hanging space to tuck away your belongings during your stay.
As a Premier Vacation Rental Company, Minnestay provides its guests fresh Towels, linens, and many other necessities such as dish soap, dishwasher/laundry tabs, shampoo/body lotion all that can be left at home! We also provide you a complementary vanity kit in each bath, with many personal necessities that may have been forgotten.
Situated in a peaceful and private setting across the street from Lake Olson. Wonderful for fishing, kayaks or paddle boarding. Boat access to lake Olson is by a navigable channel from Demontreville Lake (no private dock with the home). Beyond two sliding doors is a deck great for gathering your group to barbecue, to enjoy your morning coffee or watch the bluegills across the lake. This vacation home is a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

• All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required.
• All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a photo of yourself holding your ID to verify your identity, to be emailed or texted to our reservations department prior to check-in. No exceptions. (Please be aware that we do not have staff available to meet guests in person on site for this purpose.)
• Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation.
• A Minnestay Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require that you provide us with your email address. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. More info can be found on the Minnestay website, under Guest Services - Rental Policies.
• No smoking inside of the home. This includes e-cigarette and vape.
• This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well.
• No events! This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions.
• No pets allowed!
• Please note that you are staying in a private home and not a hotel. We expect that you will treat it with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them as quickly as we are able.
• Consumable amenities provided by Minnestay are not refilled during stay.
• Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.
• Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.
Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.

Summary: We were in the area celebrating the holidays with family. We chose this location as a central hub with easy access to family, shopping, and eateries. The home was clean and the layout provided comfortable individual and shared gathering spaces. The property management and maintenance team quickly addressed questions about the heating systems and followed up to ensure that everything was working properly. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, watching deer in the backyard, and the views across the lake.

Summary: Highly recommend this place. Very clean and not overwhelming with decor. Super comfy and loved that most of the lights were dimmable. We would definitely book again in the future.

Summary: Was a very nice house. Beautiful location. Just wished it had a queen sized bed. Also beds weren't the comfiest. But overall very happy with the stay! And would be back again!

Summary: I spent 10 nights there over the 4th of July weekend. The place was clean and had a well appointed kitchen. The dock which faces the lake was my favorite place for coffee. The washer/dryer worked well, as did the stove and dishwasher. The neighbors we super friendly. One of them knocked on the door and invited me to come watch the boat parade on the 4th. We loved watching the deer and black squirrels. I booked a return trip. .

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Wee House at Lake Elmo, MN. Beautiful location near the lakes offered lots of activities and wildlife sightings! Loved layout and modern amenities, plenty of room for our family of six! Would highly recommend!

Summary: This was the perfect rental for a weekend trip for my family. Quiet neighborhood and nice view of the lake across the street. The house was equipped with everything we needed plus some. There were even a few local snacks and coffee beans for morning coffee left for us. My favorite surprise was each bedroom had a bedside fan available for use. I don’t sleep well without a fan! For such a small house the living area was larger than expected. There were only three of us but we easily could’ve had another couple stay with us. We did have an issue with the heat running too much (I know, could’ve been much worse like no heat in the winter in MN) which was promptly handled by the property management. There was a Target about 1 mile away which was perfect for grabbing food and drinks for our stay. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the Minneapolis area.
