Positive: The area was breathtaking and peaceful. Our host was lovely. My kids enjoyed playing with the dogs and we felt welcomed there. I was able to watch the sunset, star gaze and watch the sunrise while there. It was the perfect escape.

Positive: The location was beautiful, great views and gardens. The cabin was very cute and comfortable! The hosts were so friendly and knowledgeable and were very welcoming to both us and our dog! The property is fully fenced so our dog (and the owners dogs) were free to play outside together. There is also a bushwalk out the back of the property which the owners told us about and we had a lovely secluded walk in the morning before we went home :)They also let us leave after check out time for no additional fee which we were so grateful for as we slept in!
Negative: There is no running water in the cabin so we had to keep going back to the house to refill drink bottles
Summary: We had a very relaxing weekend surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenery. We hope to return next year!!

Positive: Panoramic country views with glimpses of the bay. Remoteness. Very welcoming and helpful owners. Cosy cabin. A lovely short walk on the bushy part of the property leads to a number of large Kauri trees.
Negative: No running water and compostable toilet might bother some. But a large well appointed private bathroom (toilet, shower and bath) was a short walk away at the main house. In fact, we found hard to determine from the description exactly what the bathroom/toilet arrangement was going to be.

Positive: Loved the location, the views, hosts were so amazing. Cabin is so cute and perfect for over night stays. Private Guest bathroom is cute, but a walk up to the main house - didn’t bother us though - breath taking views.
