Positive: We were met by Sam and Moreen as we pulled into the drive. We arrived about the time we estimated we would having driven from Nadi - about 3 hours at a leisurely pace. They greeted us warmly and said just to call if we needed anything. The apartment we had was upstairs above their home and was spacious with 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, kitchen and bathroom that had everything we needed. It was very homely and comfortable. The pool was large, clean and beautiful with large rocks around the outside that gave it more of an appearance of a natural pool in the countryside. We were told to ask Sam for coconut water whenever we wanted it - I did not realise that meant he went up one of the many coconut trees to collect fresh coconuts and then prepare them to be drunk out of and then eat the flesh inside - what a treat. The property is in a a residential area of large houses and away from the main centres and very quiet. We were shown through the other building that has 7 spacious rooms with ensuite and kitchenette also available and I would love to book the whole place with a group of friends. Best to have a rental car so you can venture out - we visited Suva (about an hour away) a couple of times. One day we went across the road to a resort that welcomes people not staying there to use some of their facilities - we hired sea kayaks for a few hours for only FJD 30. We purchased food from a nearby village, Navua where Sam also recommended a place to buy fresh fish, sadly we were there too late in the day and the fish had sold out. There is a large centre in Pacific Harbour being renovated currently as a culturaL centre and it will be good to go back and see how that develops. There is a park across the road with beach access if you are wanting to swim in the ocean. The owner of the property is based in Auckland and you can contact him via WhatsApp with questions also during your stay. He was always quick to answer and valued our custom.

Positive: We stayed here for 10 days as a base in Pacific Harbour. The location was perfect for us. It is off the main road so there is very little traffic noise and was a quiet location with easy walking distance of the Pearl Resort and other restaurants (although we cooked most meals at the unit). It was great to have a well equipped kitchen with just about everything we needed. The property has two nice sized bedrooms and a spacious combined dining and living room with two couches and television. It was wonderful to have a washing machine and drying rack in the large downstairs entry room. The photos do not really do the property justice. The unit has nice gardens and views with plenty of parking. The on-site hosts were very nice and responsive to our needs and brought us coconuts or custard apples most days. The owner was also really friendly and responded quickly by Whats App. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Negative: Not much to complain about.
Summary: An excellent Fiji experience - a home away from home !!

Positive: Amazing property! Felt like we were in our own little oasis and the pool was an added bonus! Kitchen came with so many extras like rice cooker and air fryer which is so handy! The beautiful host went above and beyond for us and we cannot be more appreciative! We can’t wait to come back xx vinaka vaka levu
Negative: I didn’t like that we had to leave at the end lol, wanted to stay forever!
