Positive: Ellie took care of every little detail! The appartement is spacious and has literally everything needed. The bed and couch were super comfy. All the snacks and food available were a great bonus. I felt tired after a day of travelling, and I was quite happy to stay in and enjoy a simple dinner. Ellie was a very gracious and caring host. I felt right at home! I only wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Positive: WOW…just WOW. What an excellent host. Great location(1km from town) close to restaurants and market. Very well stocked house…like your own house…but better!! Large apartment with EVERYTHING you will ever need. We loved Coos Bay, but we think Miss Ellie’s made us love it more.
Summary: Absolutely epic apartment. Everything you need to cook, clean and organise your life after weeks on he road. THE BEST

Positive: The tiny details from all the available snacks and food, all the many products in the shower, the pet brushes and toys and food and biscuits- very much like visiting your favorite auntie who wants to make sure you feel at home. If you've got kids there are toys and games, and huge soft couches for them to play on and watch TV. All the plug ins for your phone, too. Ellie's cupboards are full of snacks in case you forgot them, and you won't want for anything in the freezer or fridge. Too many things to list. Ellie had been out shopping when Booking.com and I were trying to reach her when the door code didn't work- that just happens, but it's an important detail to work out. Ellie has thought of everything else, from a tiny hot water pot for us tea drinkers to a selection of different kinds of dog food. My dog Mika destroyed a couple of her toys so I left some money to pay for their replacement- she's still a puppy so anything on the floor is hers to consume. That said, I really appreciated that there were tennis balls for her to amuse herself with as I did some reading.
Negative: The door code defeated me, and I had to wait until Ellie showed up to get in. Those things happen. What REALLY didn't work was trying to reach Booking.com, whose AI is set to NOT understand you when you say you can't get in, it decides that you're the property owner and sends you back to the website while you're screaming at the phone for a real live person, then you sit on hold for twenty minutes, then you have to wait another forty five for an email. None of that is Ellie's fault. My beef isn't with Ellie or her lovely apartment. It's with Booking.com which has utterly lost its way by incorporating a mindless AI system when you really need a human being. If I had a bit of feedback for Ellie, for those of us who work when we travel, the tiny table provided for us to work on is the size of a postage stamp. I couldn't spread paperwork out and get anything done, so had to go find a coffee shop. That said, if Ellie's mostly hosting families, the set up is perfect, right down to a big drafting table which supplies for the resident artist in your family.
