Summary: If you want the Waldorf Astoria, don’t stay in Aquas Calientes. However, If you want a nice low key place to stay at a very reasonable price in Aquas Calientes this place is great. My family of three stayed 2 nights in the room with 3 beds, private bath, and balcony over the water. Alejandra was such a great host for us. The room was clean, had hot water in the shower, and very comfortable beds with warm blankets. As others have said, it is a little bit of a walk up the hill , but it was worth it for us to be in a quieter place with less crowds. Also, we enjoyed the noise from the river, but for those who don’t like the noise you will not want a room on the river. The hotel fit our needs perfectly and we’re so glad we picked it. Summary: We stay at the second floor. It was noise at night time. You can hear people next room talking . It was hard to sleep. Breakfast was very minimal. Hot water run out. We had to call front desk. They didn’t clean our room while we stayed. No TV also or fridge.

Summary: The property owner was extremely nice! Location was perfect, far from the noise but it’s only a 5-7 minute walk from the train station is. Breakfast is served at the time you want and there is hot water! Place is very nice!

Summary: Quaint hostal in rustic style. Placement at the river edge great, last hostal before the hot springs, perfect for me. Nice room with balcony on the river. I loved the sound of the rushing water at night, didn’t need my earplugs. Great shower, comfortable bed. Lovely girl at reception, very helpful. Recommended if you prefer the sounds of nature to the bustle of the town.

Summary: Our stay was greatly. The gentleman was very welcoming and answered all my questions. They even offer to keep our luggage until we came back from our trip Machu Picchu when our check out was at 9:30am. I recommend this place.
