Positive: Good breakfast options available - warm (waffles, bacon, sausages, egg) and continental options (pastries, fruits, bread), tea and coffee machine. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Rooms were a good size, main bed is comfortable; sofa bed is genuinely dreadful and as a doctor I'd be concerned for anyone sleeping on it. It is a 20 minute bus ride away from the main part of Bologna but bus 25 is every 20 minutes, and stops right outside the hotel so it was an easy journey. Overall, it is convenient, somewhat modern, the breakfast is nice and depending on price, it is okay to stay there. It used to be one of my favourite hotels, but the poor communication, stained bedsheets and lack of maintenance have let it down. I don't know if it was just bad luck this time (but I stayed in multiple rooms as one had a broken shower and the other had someone with a loud tv for hours in the middle of the night who didn't open the door for staff)
Negative: This is my third time staying at the hotel, and it was not as good as it used to be. This time, the bedsheets were dirty (see photo), the shower was broken (see photo taken 20 minutes after shower which stopped early to avoid flooding the bathroom) and the room next door had the TV on so loud none of us could sleep and had to change rooms...again. The fresh orange juice machine is no longer there. It hasn't got anything nearby, so you do have to take bus to go to the centre (but the bus stop is right outside and it is an easy journey). We had pizza at the hotel restaurant once and it wasn't very nice, which is quite surprising in Italy; it was like bread with tomato sauce on top? As opposed to normal a pizza. Sofa bed is genuinely dreadful and as a doctor I'd be concerned for anyone sleeping on it. The mattress is so thin you can feel every aspect of the metal frame. Emailed staff multiple times about my reservation and received no reply.
Summary: It was okay, used to be a lot better.

Positive: Although the hotel was about 30 minutes from the main city, there was a bus stop directly at the front of the hotel, which made it super easy to travel in. The staff were friendly and took time to show us the spa area when we asked. We didn't use those services but they looked really good.
Negative: The walls were quite thin and we could hear neighbouring guests.

Positive: The hotel is perfectly clean, personal is very kind and helpful, among them, they speak many languages. The location is OK - the connection with the bus is not ideal and by foot it'd be quite long; but that's not a big deal. I've been in many hotels in the last few years, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I've had! It's wonderful, delicious cheese options, eggs, bread; you can even order a fresh orange juice or the smoothie of the day, make your own pancakes, and coffee is delicious too. High recommended!

Positive: The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of sweet and savoury items to choose from. The location is very good near the motorway and there are bus stops nearby for buses into the city centre. Highly recommended.
