Positive: As a European, I love it. I was worried it might be tacky, cheap, kitsch and so on, but it's just a really lovely and stylish slice of Mediterranean. Grounds and facilities were impeccable thanks to recent renovations. Great food, great public bath, great staff. The breakfast was a delight. It's just about within walking distance of the Yokoyama trail area if you're up for a bit of hiking.
Negative: Some of the stains on the furniture put it in danger of crossing the line from pastoral to gross.

Positive: Your shortcut to Spain! I visited this place with my Spanish friend, and it was confirmed that the architecture and vibe are very close to the real South Spain, especially the garden. so if you are looking for a foreign atmosphere, this is the place to go. plus, the hotel is facing the bay, the view is breathtaking, and soaking in the pool while watching the sunset is one kind of joy. The room is big enough, and the large balcony is a perfect spot to have a drink while watching the beautiful view of Kashiko Island, they have everything you need in the room just right to the point. the pool is good enough and you can even use it after check-out. plus, there is a famous golf course next to the hotel, if you like playing golf, that is the place you must go. overall, this is a perfect place to relax with family and friends for 2 nights. the best price for value in the area.
Negative: Well, the food is not meeting my expectations, especially the French dinner, the chef was trying to do a good job but my tongue felt there is a distance from good taste, I may agree with it to a certain point, clearly, it is overpriced, especially the breakfast, so overall not recommended. The service in the hotel is very basic, and there is no room service, if you ordered a pizza or beef curry takeout, you literally need to take it by yourself. The staff are very nice, but some staff from the front are a little bit cold, or too standardized regarding the introduction. Maybe I am asking too much, but a little bit of passion may match the theme of Spain better.

Negative: considering the high price i expect that i am allowed to use the pool even with tattoos, it’s not a ryokan in the end. at very least they should inform on the booking app. and also, considering that i booked a more expensive room with a sea view, they gave us a room on the ground floor with hardly view on the bay since there is a bush in front of the balcony. very disappointing..

Positive: The location was nice and the poolside was beautiful.
Negative: We could not swim in the pool (Only be on the poolside.), even though it was very hot in mid June--it is not open until July! The breakfast is over-priced (￥4,000) for a one plate breakfast (Not a buffet!) The dinners were also over-priced with the courses beginning at ￥8,000. The tennis courts were not well maintained yet there was a ￥３，０００per hour fee to use them. Table tennis also required a ￥2,000 per hour fee--I have never seen that in Japan!
Summary: Nice location but NOT good value for money.
