Summary: My wife and I stayed for our anniversary weekend. The property is great. It is small, but it suited us well for our purposes. The view of the small lake and mountainside was wonderful. We woke up one morning to the snow-covered ground and the moon reflecting off the frozen lake—it was beautiful. The property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with there being too much chlorine in the hot tub—they had the issue fixed the same day I raised the issue with them. When we checked out and forgot some clothes that were hanging in the closet, the property manager promptly mailed them back to us which my wife, especially, greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay here again if/when visiting the Cannan Valley.

Summary: The property was great for our family with elementary aged kids plus grandparents. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Hot tub was great! Especially after a day of skiing. The location was wonderfully close to the ski resorts.

Summary: This chalet was the perfect size for our group of 5 we had. The little pond was the perfect size to relax by and spend some time on the water. Loved the paths around the pond to explore, perfect location for state parks in the area! Would recommend this to anyone, host was responsive and helped us with the damper on the fireplace!

Summary: We wanted to stay in the mountains for a different kind of vacation. We had a great experience. The check in was easy, the lady was very pleasant and helpful with ideas and suggestions. The house was magnificent. So neat and clean. It was like being at home without the noise and neighbors. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grilling! We will definitely stay there again!

Summary: This 1974 chalet was our winter home base for a 3 day weekend. The space is cozy but lacks modernity. Little appears to have been updated within the past 20 years. The fireplace was wonderful, but we found the kitchen lackluster and small. The home is centrally located in the valley and sits on a little pond. We found several unappetizing bug traps. If you have a chance we wound not recommend spending your money visiting this property. We would recommend the owners reduce the cost.
