Positive: Delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts and we loved being able to use their two bikes. The suite is large and quiet with a balcony. Great location and It is only a short walk into town. The walk home is up a steep driveway which we didn’t mind but might not be easy for someone with mobility issues. We loved this bnb. Thanks Marie and Mike.

Positive: The property is a gem of a place. What a find. It was clean, everything was fresh at breakfast. We had all we needed for our stay. Mike and Maree were great to get on with and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend staying there to anyone. Plus there’s Dougal - what a star .

Positive: Mike and Maree are, as so many have said here, wonderful hosts. Mike, who works from home was there if we ever needed him. They rent out an upstairs bedroom - spacious enough for two people and serve a lovely continental breakfast. The house is on an incline but that provides a wonderful view of the sunrise - if you wake up for it. It's walkable (about 10 minutes) from Napier center and close to shops, restaurants and the waterfront.

Positive: Mike and Maree were great people. Breakfast was really good. Watching the sunrise from our bedroom balcony was stunning. Pick up from the airport was supplied, Advice to get about Napier was very helpful. Paying the bill was very easy. Will go back if we are in Napier again.

Positive: Wonderful accommodation! Breakfast was extremely thoughtful and delicious. The whole stay exceeded our expectations. Views from the room are incredible, especially if you catch the sunrise. Location is great, can walk to centre of town. Do note: the driveway is very steep and long (it is a shared driveway for multiple houses) so walking back up may be difficult for some. This was our best accommodation in New Zealand. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks Maree and Mike (and Dougal)!

Positive: Fabulous location - very close to town yet private and quiet. Superb views of Napier and the Bay. The room was delightfully decorated. Ver comfortable bed.
Negative: There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The hosts, Mike and Maree were excellent hosts.
