Newly remodeled 2-bedroom basement apt with private exterior access. This unique space provides stylish accommodations, comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. In unit laundry with detergent and bathroom with toiletries ensure hassle-free lodging for your travel.
Quick access to all big/little cottonwood canyon ski resorts (Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton). 20-25 min from downtown and less than 25 min from the airport makes this the ideal location for your Salt Lake adventures!
This basement apartment is an independent unit and has been isolated from the upstairs. The basement is accessed through a private exterior stairwell and pathway to the driveway. You likely will never see us during your trip unless we pass in the driveway!
Each bedroom has a TV (Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+), ceiling fan and premium mattress. The King bedroom has a small desk for working or makeup. The Kitchen has a Keurig and stays stocked with complimentary coffee, cider and hot cocoa!
The sectional in the living room is large enough to sleep 2 people, and we also have an aerobed air mattress available upon request.
The bathroom always has fresh towels, and we supply premium shampoo, conditioner and bodywash along with various other toiletries. The in-unit washer and dryer are supplied with Tide and dryer sheets.
NOTE: We do have some young kids, so you’ll likely hear the occasional pitter-patter of little feet from upstairs. We’ll try our best to keep it to a minimum! We can promise you’ll have quiet evenings after bedtime. We just don’t recommend our place if you’re trying to write a book and require complete silence!

Summary: This place had everything we needed in a quiet area. Cute/modern furnishings and decorations. Comfortable beds. In close proximity to ski mountians. Owner was friendly, helpful, and the snacks upon arrival was a sweet treat. Will definitely stay here again, especially if daughter chooses U of U :)

Summary: We spent 8 nights in this property and were extremely satisfied with our stay. We enjoy skiing at multiple resorts in the SLC area. The resorts were very easily accessible from our VRBO. From Little / Big Cottonwood Canyons to Ogden, we had no issues getting to the slopes. Plan on leaving early on the weekends or snow days to get to the front of the queue line on Wasatch South to head up the Little Cottonwood Canyon. And at the end of the day, we had a very comfortable and well equipped VRBO to head back to for the evening. Lots of seating to watch TV in the main room, a great dining room table for eating and a well-equipped kitchen to cook in. We cooked in most nights. However, if you are not big on cooking a large meal and want to stay in, head to Papa Murphy's like we did on your way back from the slopes and pick up a pizza to cook in the over for dinner. Smith's grocery store is just a mile away and had everything we needed to cook in. The Lifthouse took care of our ski needs. We also enjoyed the Porcupine Grill for dinner. If you are worried about needing something, your host will take care of you. He is quick to respond and help with questions as needed. He provided a much-needed snow shovel/ice melt for the steps, an ice scraper for the car, and even brought us flashlights outside the door in the middle of the night when the power went out. James is there to take care of your needs. It was the little things that made this place special like individual coffee brew cups, soap and shampoo in the shower, games for kids and TVs for entertainment. They do have children and you can hear some walking above, but voices do not travel through the walls and your sleep will not be interrupted. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to navigate due to wide streets and efficient snow removal. We look forward to traveling back to Utah and booking here again.
