This newly renovated bright, modern and chic upper floor unit in this Walkerville duplex is perfect for a solo or family staycation in the beautiful city, visitors or for business travelers looking for the comforts of home. This 2 bedroom/1 bathroom home is fully equipped for short or long-term stays. Nestled in a quiet, dog-friendly and safe neighborhood this place promises to be your home away from home.
The unit has its own office room with a work desk and high speed internet (Fibe Internet 1.5 Gbps). The office also contains gym equipment such as an adjustable bench and dumbbells' making it ideal for anyone looking to break a sweat with a versatile full body workout while still travelling.
When you enter this home you will enter a nice big open space where the living room containing a 55' Smart TV and dining room are located. With ample natural light pouring in through the expansive windows, this home is designed with style and comfort in mind.
The kitchen is conveniently located behind the dining room with stainless steel appliances and a nice white backsplash. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook a nice meal.
Across from the kitchen is the office room and a hallway leading to two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Each of the two bedrooms has a queen size bed (sleeps 2) all with brand new linens, comfortable memory foam mattresses and a good size window with blinds.
The bathroom is perfect for any one. Completely redone with modern finishes such such as tilling, niches, backsplash, and glass encased standing shower, the bathroom is meant to meet the needs of any guest.
Groceries, shopping, restaurants, parks and much more are all within a 5-10 minute walk or a couple minutes by car. The unit is also located minutes by car from the Chrysler Plant and Windsor Regional Hospital.
The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood. It's family, close to many amenities and is considered to be one of the safest neighborhoods in Windsor. Many of the neighbors have dogs and there is a beautiful dog park located in Optimistic Memorial park which is walking distance (15 minutes) from the home. The park is also perfect for hikes and trekking. The neighborhood is walkable, has a rich and interesting history, and is close to many restaurants, breweries, patios, and cafes, that brings the community together.
There is 1 other self contained unit in the basement with a separate entrance that may or may not be occupied by other guests during your stay.

Summary: We stayed here while helping our family manage a family tragety. Our host was always responsive to our needs and even sent flowers after my brother passed. The place was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The house is very clean, comfortable and spacious! It has all the needed amenities. The residential area is very quiet and safe. We enjoyed our time and used the kitchen to eat breaks fast and lunch. The appliances are new and everything worked as expected. The host is very responsive and helpful.

Summary: Lovely remodeled ranch. Felt clean and had all that we needed. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Good location for exploring the city as Evers nearby. Hot water and water pressure good. Easy to get in and out with a front door code. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors present. Fire extinguishers in the kitchen. Heat was turned up to make it cozy as it was cold outside. We have a small dog and it was perfect with a field down the street we could walk him to. We used the coffee maker and made bagels each morning. Coffee, creamer and sugar were provided. There was filtered water in the fridge and a welcome bottle of wine offered. We enjoyed the Netflix and WiFi which worked well. The only thing we wished was different were the beds were not comfortable for my husband and I. We rolled to the center towards each other and it was too too soft for us. My husband ended up getting a poor nights sleep on the couch both nights. Otherwise it was perfect!
