2 Bedroom Apartment in Grand Rapids

This newly renovated, lower level two bedroom apartment is within walking distance from one of Grand Rapids' hottest spots, Bridge Street! A bright kitchen with stainless steel appliances, stocked with coffee and a Keurig. An open concept living and dining room that's airy with lots of natural light. Driveway and street parking are available, and self check-in via a smart lock will make your stay easy and enjoyable!
The space
KITCHEN
Includes a Keurig with a variety of regular and decaf coffee, Coffee-Mate creamers and tea. A toaster, dishwasher, microwave, stove and fridge. Everything needed for cooking and eating is available; silverware, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, pots and pans, etc.
LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM
A smart TV with access to Hulu and Disney+. The dining table seats 6. There is no central air, but in the summer months a window A/C unit will be in the living room.
BEDROOMS
Each have a queen bed. One bedroom has a walk in closet with clothes storage space. The second bedroom has a night stand with two drawers for clothes storage. There is a queen size air mattress in the walk in closet that can be inflated in the living room.
BATHROOM
In addition to the necessities, there is a hair dryer and a small bin with commonly forgotten items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and and body wash).
DRIVEWAY PARKING
Guests may park in the left lane of driveway, or in the street.
LAUNDRY
There is laundry (washer and dryer) available by request. It is located in the basement, please notify me ahead of time so I can give you access to this space.

All areas of the lower apartment, the porch and the backyard.
Other things to note
You may occasionally hear an upstairs tenant or their cats walking around.

Summary: We are full time travelers and stayed at this property for a month. As someone who has lived in a lot of old houses, and even remodeled a few, this was a great place!! Up to date, spacious, well laid out. The kitchen was large and had basics for cooking (dishwasher was a plus!). Off street parking was great, beds were comfortable and linens high quality. We stayed the month of July and, even with just a portable ac in the living room, it wasn't bad (every room had fans). We didn't even need to turn on the ac at all during the day, but did when we slept. There may be elephants that live upstairs 😀 but walking was all I heard (no voices, tv, music, etc). That's rare even in newer apartments. There are a few places you can walk to in the neighborhood, but nothing is more than 5-10min drive. The minimals cons: It would be nice to have a dresser or shelves, etc in the closet. There's no real place to put your clothes. TV wasn't the best.

Summary: I was so pleasantly surprised at how clean this VRBO was. That was my main request. It is located so close to the highways and all kinds of facilities nearby. Owner was awesome. Absolutely would recommend this home to anyone. Thank you!

Summary: We had a weekend stay at this house. I went with a group of friends. There was 4 adults. Everything worked well, and had almost everything someone would need. We enjoyed out stay. Only one comment that would have made things perfect is more toilet paper. We were given 2 rolls for 4 women on a 3 day stay. We ran out on Sunday morning. Other then that, things were great!

Summary: The check in and key process was very easy. The apartment looks just as it does in pictures. Very clean and super cute decor. We brought our bikes and could easily ride anywhere we wanted to go in GR. Be sure to check out the Mitten Brewery and Order a Pizza Flight! Our only (very minor) complaint was that the furniture wasn’t super comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time sitting around anyway.
