You'll find this single-level cabin in the woods of Hidden Lake, a community of Cherry Log that sits between Blue Ridge to the north and Ellijay to the south. Inside, you'll be greeted by tall ceilings, walls of natural wood, and a modern-cabin setting that's full of small comforts, from central air conditioning to fiberoptic WiFi for remote work. The open kitchen features stainless steel appliances and ample counterspace, while the living room offers a gas-powered fireplace and a Smart TV mounted to the stone hearth.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at Doe Haven cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The location was great too, only 10 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. My only complaint is the responsiveness of the property management team. There was one minor issue when we arrived, and we immediately messaged the property management team but didn’t get a response until two days after we checked out (after a 4 night stay).

Summary: Road leading up the hill to the cabin is a joke and dangerous. The driveway is a 90°degree right turn coming in. Either have to back in or pull forward and back into a spot to access the drive. None on these are described in the description of the cabin... also big black ants all around the hot tub and got inside the cabin during our stay.

Summary: Cabin was very nice. All appliances and furnishings were in great condition. Hot tub was on the lower level, you have to go across the front porch and down two flights of steps to access. We didn’t mind, but if mobility is an issue, others might. The view is pretty, and forest…but not really a Mountain View. The road in is indeed paved…but narrow and very steep. The driveway was tricky to say the least…we finally settled on backing in, as there is no room to turn around. The WiFi was slow, we didn’t use it much, and didn’t care enough to complain, but work-from-vacationers might want to further investigate. Overall, a very nice little cabin.

The only concern we had was the road to get there, it’s a single lane road up the mountain…if you meet a car coming the other way there is no room to pass. A smaller vehicle would be ideal. No complaints at all with the cabin!

Summary: We wanted to go somewhere other than the beach; we live in Panama City, FL. Recently married and this was the perfect getaway for us. Will definitely be back. The only thing we can tell you is to bring your own firewood for the outdoor fire pit. We luckily read a previous review so we were prepared. There's a Tractor Supply close by though!!
