The perfect place to escape and wake up in the trees or spend a weekend w/friends!
Welcome to @TallStuga - Our incredibly modern Scandinavian-themed cabin! You're located on the Sheltowee Trace, just minutes from Cave Run Lake and only 25 miles from Red River Gorge. :)
There is public access to hiking trails, boat docks, horse camps, local golf course, parks & more. Plus, you'll be close to numerous quaint little towns, state forests, antique stores & local markets.
The space
Newly constructed cabin located in the heart of Eastern KY! While this home is only 600 square feet, its minimal, open and airy layout can accommodate up to 6 people. It’s a cozy fit, but we make it work perfectly.
The home is furnished with one king-sized bed in the upstairs loft, one queen-sized bed in the downstairs bedroom, and one queen-sized Article sleeper sofa. (We’ll leave it up to you to decide who is sleeping where—ha!) Plus, there is a playpen included should you bring the kiddos.
Keep in mind, that if heights or climbing ladders aren’t your thing, this cabin may not be for you.
Inside the kitchen, you’ll enjoy large window views while making your morning coffee along with all the pots, pans and plates you need to pretend like you’re going to cook yourself dinner from scratch!
The living room is furnished with a nice flat-screen TV where you can Netflix and chill with friends. And hey, if you aren’t into TV, we’ve got some board games you all can play, too!
In terms of amenities, we’ve got you covered too! You’ll have access to small, yet important things like: A blow dryer, towels, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and more. Should you need to do laundry, there is a washer/dryer and steamer conveniently in the home.
Looking to work from home? Our cabin offers speedy internet, killer window views and plenty of space to stretch out when needed.
As we mentioned earlier, this cabin is so perfect, you’ll want to stay forever.
Guest access
You’ll have access to the entire home. This will include a parking lot (large enough to park your boat), front porch, back patio, private pergola w/hot tub, fire pit, pellet grill, creek, corn hole and axe throwing in the hollar.
Other things to note
In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the cabin is equipped with two exterior cameras. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior and there are no cameras on the inside. We also warn our guests of dangerous snakes and wildlife in the area and to take precautions when enjoying outdoor amenities.

Summary: Just as listed. Beautiful cabin with tons of amenities and comfortable beds. Lots of extra pillows and blankets. Tons of games and activities. Throwing axes with targets, Cornhole set. Hot tub with Bluetooth speaker. High end appliances, grill and fire pit.

Summary: Loved this place- it was so clean and had all the basics. I noticed so many details of personal touches that made it feel like home. My only complaint is that you have to walk in gravel to get from house to deck where hot tub, fire and grill are, so you really want shoes unless you like walking in gravel. 10/10 recommend!

Summary: 100% would recommend to friends and family My girlfriend and I stayed in this place for a weekend getaway, and we loved it! Check-in was super easy, place was VERY clean and aesthetically it looked amazing—major props on the interior design. Loved the loft and getting to use the ladder to access it! Would say this is a great relaxation spot for 1-2 couples. It’s within a good distance from some good hikes if you enjoy that but also has plenty to do if you just wanted to stay around the property all day! Only negative I can think of was there was a trick to learn with the fireplace—our first morning, when we started it back up the fire alarms went on and off for a little bit. Called the owners who were very responsive and helped us get it figured out quickly, then we had no more issues. Just would have been nice to know that ahead of time, but I’m still very happy with how quickly they got back to us and helped us figure it out!
