Home is ideally located only 32 miles from downtown Boston, one hour to ocean beaches and 90 minutes to the heart of the White Mountains. Excellent for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. No motors allowed on the pond makes this an ideal quiet, summer getaway.
The home features a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a large loft with full and twin beds. A/C, TV, cable, internet and WiFi included. Outside deck features small table for quiet lunch for 2 or 4, and a large picnic table that seats 10, perfect for outdoor grilling.

Summary: Hosts were readily available and very kind. The pond is delightful to look at and paddle on and warm enough for a swim. The house is very clean and well maintained and well stocked.

Summary: We had such a great time on our vacation. Sitting in the livingroom you feel like you are in a tree house as you gaze uopn the water. The pond is SUPER quiet because there is not any public access and no motorized equipment. The only people on it are coming from one of the surrounding houses. We kayaked everyday and my youngest son enjoyed the paddle board. Both of my boys enjoyed swimming to the dock and I enjoyed how close everything was. My husband caught so many fish that we could not believe it (3-4 cat fish each night easy). Rainy day? No problem, the walkout basement has a full sized bathroom, ping pong and an overhead projector connected to a Playstation. The main level has a table that is long enough for a 1,000 piece puzzle. We stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the property and surrounding town, including Canobie Lake Park. We even went to Hampton beach which is about an hour away. I have already recommended this property to friends and we plan to return.

Summary: A well maintained cottage on a peaceful pond. Host met us personally to show us around when we checked in. My daughter took on pan cake making because of the nice welcome New England maple syrup. We did some kayaking, fishing and swimming. A very comfortable stay close to Boston.

Summary: Host met us at property to show us around. House was very clean and had everything you would need for your vacation away from home except for a trip to the grocery store. Great location, close to Boston, mtns and seacoast. Lake activities are enjoyable or enjoy sitting by the fire listening to the loons (if it’s the right season). On a rainy day enjoy a game of ping pong or games on the protector. I would definitely stay again if I came to NH and I will also recommend to anyone I know looking. Owner made our first VRBO experience great!!

Summary: Where do I even begin! This property is gorgeous. The house was nice and clean and had everything you could ever want/need. Literally everything you would find in your own home. There was even a mini pencil sharpener for our kids to use for while they were doing schoolwork! Our flight was delayed and Diane and Alan were very gracious and accommodating with the delayed check-in time. They were available for any questions and were friendly and welcoming. As far as the property is concerned, you have to check out the trail behind the house. Just a short walk and there is an incredible view of the pond. As other guests have mentioned, go check out the local butcher shop..you won't regret it!

Summary: Beautiful view and cozy home. Owner was extremely helpful and attentive. Very well stocked and plenty of amenities. Great location near lots of cute towns (Salem, MA, Newburyport & Exeter) and Boston. Great country stores and an amazing butcher. Truly enjoyed ourselves.

Summary: Can not say enough good things about this place! We’ve rented several homes on VRBO and Alan and Diane, the hosts, are some of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Super helpful and available to answer any questions. The house was well stocked and VERY clean. We were up visiting family. We played games, watched movies, went for family kayak trips every day and ended the days by the fire pit out back. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Can not wait to visit again!! A Perfect New England getaway!
