Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished for comfort, including plush bedding, extra linens and ample storage. The home features comfortable seating, games, books, a screened porch and outdoor space to spread out.
Step outside and hop on your complimentary golf cart to cruise to the beach, just moments away (1/10mile), or explore the nearby dining, shopping, and local attractions. You are one block from the Sixth Street beach access and one block to the picturesque marsh views at sunset. With space to sleep up to 8 guests, this home is perfect for families or friends looking to enjoy a luxurious beach vacation in one of the area’s most beautiful settings.
This traditional St. Simons Beach Cottage was completely renovated (inside and out) in 2024. No detail has been overlooked and has been thoughtfully planned around your vacation pleasure!!
Cottage Layout:
Enter the home from the quaint screened porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon beverage and enjoy the vibe of East Beach.
The front door takes you into a huge family room with a large screen HDTV, two sofas with 2 recliners, and comfort as the main focus in this room. The living area is open to the dining room and convenient to the renovated galley kitchen.
The master bedroom includes a queen bed with adjoining master bathroom and door opening up to the expansive backyard. It includes a HDTV and ceiling fan.
The guest bedroom includes a king bed with black out drapes, HDTV and ceiling fan.
The third bedroom has 2 sets of twin size bunkbeds complete with HDTV and ceiling fan.
Both guest rooms share a generous hall bathroom with a tub and shower combo. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer as well as a mudroom stocked with beach gear and towels.
There are plenty of parking spaces and 3 cars are allowed.

The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quaint neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Summary: Lovely beach home in a great location near East Beach. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Easy communication with owners and quick response time. Access to beach at 6th street is a short walk. Use of golf cart an added bonus and helped with carrying chairs and beach stuff. Plenty of local restaurants nearby, spoilt for choice. Hoping we can return next year.

Summary: I was blessed to be able to spend the entire month in this perfect home. The location was exactly what I wanted. I had friends/family visit throughout the month and everyone loved it. The home was equipped with everything I needed. The golf cart was a huge bonus! It made going and coming from the beach so easy.

Summary: We loved the property! You can’t beat the location and convenience to the beach. The house was very comfortable and had enough space for our group of 6. Kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and there were chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler for trips to the beach. There were plenty of quality bath towels and all the essentials. The golf cart was a huge bonus. We really enjoyed mornings & evenings on the porch. Honestly, I did not want to leave!

Summary: The rug in living room needs to be trashed, because there is no way that rug can be vacuumed with all those snags because a vacuum cleaner would stay clogged up. The day we got there it was sooo hot in there it too until next day to cool. We bought groceries at local grocery and bought hamburgers and hotdogs to grill but could not grill because the grill was dirty and so rusted. The location was perfect but needs some work. The golf cart would not run the first day. The house has great potential but needs some work.

Summary: The check in process for this property was great and had no problems finding it. It is an older home but the bathrooms and kitchen are updated. We had a few electrical issues the 3rd day and when trying to call the emergency numbers *provided by the host* nobody would pick up. The breaker tripped and caused the air conditioning to not cool. Once the owners responded we were able to flip the breaker back on and had to sit without air conditioning for 1.5 hours and the house temperature was 78 degrees. Then during the last night the fire alarms went off in all of the house at 2:15 am for no reason. There were several cockroaches and mosquitoes. Also if you are planning to work remotely here you may want to pick another property because the wifi is not strong and is very spotty. The location and neighborhood was great and the golf cart was a nice bonus!

Summary: We have been going to SSI every year for 10 years (we were married here) we’ve stayed at many homes on the island and on East Beach and Bruce Dr. This property was the perfect size for my husband and I along with our two young children. Access to 6th street beach was easy and convenient and the golf cart was a wonderful perk! Stacy the owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We WILL be back!

Summary: This beach cottage is precious! Spacious, sweetly & comfortably decorated for two couples and teenagers. Kitchen is well-stocked as well. Proximity to the beach is perfect. Golf cart is on the older side, moves a bit elderly for main road travels, but a big convenience and was nice to have. Loved our stay here!
