Newly constructed, our modern country retreat is perfectly located for the visitor seeking a romantic getaway or a quiet haven. Nestled on 10 acres of gorgeous wooded land our home cottage is perfect for couples or small groups seeking an escape from the noise of the city, while still being in proximity to Washington Dulles Airport, I-66, Middleburg and downtown Leesburg. If your trip lends to a more local experience, the area is known for its award winning wineries and unique craft breweries.
The space
This simple and elegant farmhouse cottage has been renovated to provide guest with a comfortable country retreat experience. The home décor is in a modern French industrial. Creating a relaxing home base after days filled exploring all that Leesburg and surrounding cities have to offer. The layout is as follows:
Living Room: The living room is the perfect mixture of class and comfort. The blend of botanical accents and plush furnishings allow for conversation and relaxation. If needed the sofa does convert into a bed allowing for an additional sleeping option.
Kitchen/dining: The fully equipped kitchen features honed white marble, which has also been used in the bathroom, and white French farmhouse style cabinetry. You will find everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal or snack. We also provide guest with farm fresh eggs and seasonally freshly cut flowers.
Bedroom: As you comfort is our main priority we have furnished the bedroom to reflect a space that is not only cozy, but also functional. The large king bed with high quality linens will guarantee guest get a full night sleep. All furnishing and room décor have been chosen to create the feel of being at your own personal retreat.
Bathroom: Everything about the bathroom represents quality and relaxation. The main feature is the stunning Aston Vienne Corner Frameless shower. It brings a striking contrast of modern and French design to the overall look of the space. Beyond the beauty of the white honed marble and exquisite shower we provide guest with basic toiletries and all needed towels.
Guest access
Guest have full access to the cottage main living quarters and outdoor space. The lower half of the structure is used for a floral company and will be locked when not in use. However, you will have access to the private driveway for vehicle parking.
Other things to note
Staying at our cottage is a wildlife and farm experience, you will hear a rooster crowing in the morning, chickens walking by and sometimes a visit from Oliver, the orange farm cat while relaxing on the patio. Please let us know if you would like daily fresh eggs from the coop or you may help yourself. A Tesla charging station is also available for guests.
